I hope they at least mention the events of Uprising.

[up]We'll wait a while for other sources to confirm it, but, if so, I'm kinda disappointed. :/

Considering the timing, I blame Lindelof. Somehow his writing fumbles not only kept Tomorrowland from reaching its potential, he managed to kill non-Star Wars/superhero Sci-Fi films at Disney.

Dang it, this makes me really depressed.

Thanks a lot Lindelof. As if messing up the Alien series wasn't enough.

Should we lock this thread for the time being? I don't see any point of keeping the discussion going for a now cancelled film.

Thanks Lindelof! [tdown]

[up]There's no point in locking it up. If someone does get news about the movie being in development again, all they have to do is to necro it (it is a valid necro, in this case).

It is also likely that at some point in the future, if this movie is truly doomed, one of the writers will release information about What Could Have Been, which we can discuss.

The article also said the film wasn't officially confirmed.

Yeah, locking is for complaint threads, redundant threads or threads that devolved into excessive drama. Nothing wrong with keeping a thread for a potential film that never got off the ground.

I wasn't a huge fan of Legacy, but I liked the look and felt there was plenty more story to tell.

Welp, not only did Disney crush our hopes and dreams with the cancellation, they broke the spirit of Tron himself.

At the very least, the franchise ended on a high note.

The thing I'm really sad about is that Tron Uprising will never get a proper ending.

Tron Uprising was, legitimately, one of the best cartoons of recent memory.

Really too bad that this series was canned.

Thanks a lot Damon Lindelof.
