Suede's message comes after Eric's.
And a million fanfics were written...It's time for a crossover! It's Pokemon: The First Movie!
I am REALLY looking forward to their future reviews. Particularly Pokemon 3, as that's my favourite out of all the movies. I know it's likely going ot take a while for them to do them though, and it's gonna kill me to wait so long.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...I have a soft spot for the 3rd movie too Its just so different from most I have seen where its always about a bad guy threatening the legendary of the week
Toon!Suede looks like Shaggy from Scooby Doo
I wonder who voiced the Admin. I assume it was Suede, but it sounded a little like Guru Larry.

Groovy. So, if you watch the intro really closely, either Suede's filmed this in his old house or he got the old curtains put up.
Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. It's official, Suede is a brony!
I want to revive this for his Pokemon Journey reviews. It seems the synopsis parts of those reviews are going into Abridged Series territory.

They are really funny and informative. Speaking of that his latest one is very funny and has a good discussion about the effects fiction can have on people, with special guest Jacob Chapman!

METAL GEAR!?Necroing this since Suede is still uploading and he recently covered the Orange League 2-parter of the Pokémon anime. Too bad Shopro doesn't like to play nice and the episodes got flagged.
Here's the most recent episode: "Viva Las Lapras".
Also more movie reviews were promised if Suede hit a Patreon milestone. Which I think he did?

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Re-necroing as Suede's bin hit with a *court order* from ShoPro this time asking for a small but still substantial amount of damages. As a result, all of Suede's videos are unavailable at the moment and many might never be again.
This is right after Toei similarly claimed Totally Not Mark's videos, leading to a compromise where YouTube kept some videos blocked in Japan but nowhere else, although Toei at least didn't file their takedown outside of the YouTube system so that adds another wrinkle to the situation.

I don't normally watch Suede's videos but this was pretty sad so I had to share.

The video is here for the short while it has.
Is there any proof that anime reviews actually harmed the sales of DVD of successful titles (Pokémon or anything Dragon Ball) or is it just paranoia on Toei and Sho Pro?
Phoebe and Her Unicorn thread: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=16104243270A34144300Oh neat, this thread does exist and I didn't imagine posting here before. Was trying to find it the other week but the site's forum search is garbage.
It's just the corporations involved being shitty. I can't speak about Dragon Ball (though Totally Not Mark made a very good point about DBZA keeping the brand relevant during a lull of content), but Suede is small time and probably had very little impact on potential sales. Assuming it would negativity affect sales in the first place when I bet many people watching Suede were uninterested in buying DVDs in the first place or potentially already had them.
Besides, Pokémon has a bunch of episodes available for free on its website and some on Netflix last I checked. I'm pretty sure the entirety of Indigo League (which is most of what Suede had covered before this) is on one of those.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Suede's been posting previews of his replacement series on Twitter.
It seems like he's also restarting the Journey from scratch, which kind of sucks but is also understandable.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I gotta say I like this style, and given the format of the old episodes, apart from maybe a few specific instances where something from the show is being highlighted this'll probably not mean too many changes.
I wonder if any still frames will be used for those moments (such as, say, when Suede points out that 4Kids forgot to remove the word "Satoshi" from Ash's sleeping bag) or if Suede'll play it even safer and just describe/recreate them.
In all honesty, by the strictest possible definition of fair use most YouTube review channels wouldn't comply, especially when they use video footage just as a backdrop even if it isn't needed to demonstrate their point. As much as people rag on them (often for good reason) I feel like CinemaSins almost always meets the strict fair use standards.

Suede's Pokémon Journey has finally returned in puppet form. So turn back the clock to the very first episode of Pokémon.
I'm pretty sure that's a potshot to the I Choose You! movie at the end of the recap.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? Now here's an interesting update. Suede adjusting his Let's Play/streaming strategy to fit the Pokémon Journey format, starting with Pokémon Violet, in hopes that it will cause him to not burn out this time.
This might be fun.

A bit more shorter video from Suede, but with interesting topic:
Yeah even before politics became more a point of debating in general, it's funny.
People who often decry sensitivity (i.e. taking offense to certain words) fly off the handle at one point or another. So it's not that jerkasses are really trying to build up the other half, but really suggesting that those they look down on are merely the ones undeserving of sensitivity.
Phoebe and Her Unicorn thread: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=16104243270A34144300Funny, just a few days ago Discord blocked one of my post and I couldn’t pinpoint the reason until someone suggested that maybe it’s because it contained the (French) word "retard".
I always interpreted the English wordnote as "late in their mental development" but I guess that’s hardly better.
Now I wonder if the word "idiot" will be rejected the same way one day… that would feel weird, since I bet most people aren’t even aware it used to be a """medical""" term.
Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Well one new video Suede did was of a YT Pokémon mini:
Basically the main character is trying to fit in on her first day at a new school, but doesn't do so well until she finds some old Pokémon card at her house and competes against her classmate.
So yeah, beating someone's with an Oddish card does seem like a legit social strategy.🤔
But besides the review, the miniseries is a cute and fun thing to watch.
