Kamen Rider: General Thread

So I hear there are some Ex-Aid V-Cinemas where Kuroto goes full tyrant again, and Kirirya tries to stop him.

There are also some other V Cinemas with Brave and Snipe, as well as Pallad and Poppy.

Do we know anything about them?

The Another Ending trilogy. Chronologically it goes series —> movie —> Another Ending though I don't think we have movie subs yet.

Another ending goes Brave & Snipe —> Para-DX with Poppy and Gemn vs Lazer. Limited theatrical release then DVD in March/April, though it's up to fansub groups how quickly we get to see it. There is a little bit of set-up in the Knock Out Fighter 2 hyper battle which shows that Kuroto has escaped his prison.

There are sub'd trailers out somewhere. Bit more plot detail: Brave & Snipe: Lovelica comes back, brings Saki back. Nico has an American love interest? Para-Dx with Poppy: A game is made to try and recover Bugster victims. There's an evil Parad who seems to literally be called 'Another Para-Dx'. Gemn vs Laser Exactly what the title suggests. Kuroto creates Zombie Chronicle. Gemn gets God Maximum Mighty X, Lazer gets Chambara level X

Build 18:

So the S-clash drivers make you more aggressive, similar to the effect of the light from Pandora's box. In other words, Banjou's gonna start losing it soon. And he's already got plenty of reasons to be angry too, so as we see from the episode 19 preview, it won't take long.

Grease....is a fanboy of Mittan. I won't lie. I was expecting something more.

Yeah... Also I'm starting to get some DJ Sagara vibes from Stalk...

I've had that feeling for like half the show so far.

Yeah, but now it's gotten really stronger to the point it finally "clicked" on me. But yes, it's been like that for quite some time.

Edit: Thinking back a little, I thought at first that this was simply Soichi working for Faust while still caring for Sento or trying to make him unwittingly do the hard work of developing new gear for him. But now that he was shown outright offering an upgrade, the whole thing just got much clearer now.

So maybe Soichi himself has become a vessel for Pandora's box or something, and it wants to just cause chaos. It'd be interesting if the Macguffin everyone was fighting over was the real Big Bad.

Just watched True Ending.

...Didn't really solve anything to be honest.

Build 19: The Hazard Smash are kind of cool and their motivation, although bland, makes sense. Clearly gonna die soon though. Also, Sento doesn't want Banjo using his Deadly Upgrade so he's going to use... a different Deadly Upgrade

Guilt might be clouding his judgement a little.

Both of them are doing "I don't want you do a self-sacrifice, I'll do it instead". Hokuto Crows are also running on the same logic. That's just how the bonds of camaraderie go in this series.

Watched True Ending. Opinion in brief: plot was kind of basic and didn't really add anything to the series, despite the title. However, VRX's fight scene and the obligatory giant CGI fight both look pretty neat so props for that.

I more or less said the same thing. It didn't really do anything that felt like an ending to the series.

I endeavor to write a character like Souichi honestly. I really, really enjoyed this episode in every aspect.

And now Seito joins the party.

Since Grease showed up, I feel the theme song should have been switched out for something different. Just feels weird to me.

Small spoiler from Build 23 I find amusing: The Kaisers share a transformation gear. Their transformation sequence is one using it then passing it to the other one so he can use it.

Woow. Seito Rider's henshin sequence is ridiculously awesome. Did not expect them to top Hazard in menace, but they managed.

Though I do guess that he is a Hazarded version of Sclash. Perhaps through the medium of his unique bottle rather than an add-on like Drive has.

Well, look who's back? Guess he decided he needed to beef up his power a bit.

He was going to be back eventually. Now the question is, does Stalk know?

Considering Stalk is the one currently running the whole show, it's hard to believe he doesn't. As things stand, he's essentially now got everyone working for him, or stolen all their research for himself.

So, uh, who is this Mogami Kaisei person mentioned? I don't think I missed an episode.

A quick Google search says that they're the villain of the crossover movie from back in December.
