Ooh, I kept meaning to make a thread like this (for Badass Boast, actually), as a sort of test run, but you beat me to it. Let's see if we can get a nice, witty quote without dragging this out for weeks.
The quotes page has a lot, of course, and I'm partial to either the Psych or XKCD ones.
Strictly speaking, this trope probably shouldn't have those two page quotes. IIRC two page quotes are allowed if they're both only one or two lines, and preferably provide some different perspectives on the trope.
Just...just throwing that out there.

That's a good point. So if we're to have more than one page quote, perhaps they should be among the shorter quotes?
Also, I made a crowner here
. I only added three options so far, but feel free to add your own preference. I just figured we'll work this out easier by voting. Crowners seem to get more attention than threads.

The XKCD quote seems to have won, but by a thin margin. I put it up on the page a while ago with a note not to tweak the page quote unless it's from the vote changing. Fast Eddie moved the other quotes to the quotes page for us.

What would be the best way to fix the page?
This is not quite trope repair, more like trope maintenance, but this seems the most appropriate place to put it. Anyway, I was looking through this trope, and it seems to be a page quote magnet. Currently it has two page quotes (one from Calvin And Hobbes and one from some cartoon called Ben 10 Ultimate Alien) and its own quotes page rapidly filling up.
A while ago I added the lyrics to The World Before Later On by They Might Be Giants as a page quote, but it got removed with no explanation. I was going to add it back, considering they are "the official unofficial band of TV Tropes Wiki," but I didn't want to start an edit war. Besides, it would have been the third page quote, which I will admit is ridiculous.
In part that's why I'm making this thread. Even two is possibly too many? At any rate, it's going to get more quotes and other editors will probably change around the page quote. I figured that, given the way the article seems to accrue quotes, it would probably be better to have us decide on a quote or two by consensus rather than just leave the current ones up as first-come-first-serve. This way we can make sure it gets the best page quote(s) and we can have an easily-implemented policy for reverting page quote changes. So what do you guys think?
