Grim Up North and Ice Palace both have (differently sized) pics of the Lich King's Citadel. Here's a suggestion for Grim Up North:

And where is The Dark Lord in this image? Or the forces of evil? The only dangourus looking beeings are normal looking animals.

Despite the description, I don't think Dark Lords are integral to the trope. If they are, point me to the trope page for grim, snowy norths in general.

Is that part of the trope? It's only really in the first paragraph of the description, and hardly any of the examples.

The Dark Lord is mentioned in the first paragraph, undead creatures in the second. The rest of the description is not focused of describing the trope, it tells us about the reasons why people assiociate the north with this trope.

So it is not simply about the grim cold north, it is about the grim cold north being the home of evil creatures. The lack of a general grim cold north trope is no reasen to put up a page image which doesn't display the trope.

At the very least, we should take this pic down from this page since it's still a duplicate with Ice Palace.

Skyrim pics looks good, though maybe an in game screen shot might work better.

Skyrim's a good source, but we need less Up North and more Grim. Show at least one character facing more towards the camera so we can see their nordic armaments.

I think the pointy helmet says Nordic. And the bear and the dead mammoth says "Grim".

While I love A Song Of Ice And Fire, and The Wall is my favorite of the (many) Plot Threads, that picture isn't very indicative, unfortunately. I'm good with the earlier suggestion.
