I have no words to describe how much of a monster the guy who did this is.
I will be severely disappointed if where ever that is (California) doesn't have capital punishment...

A cop bought a kid some Mc Donalds just to be nice. A few minutes later, some dude came up to him in his squad car and shot him to death.
Edit: Oh, good, the guy who did it got killed. Good riddance. Also, goddammit, the guy had just gotten out of the Marines. What a load of bullshit this is...

According to the report, just to be a dick. Some random guy, I guess. Just pulled up next to the squad car and offed him with a shotgun.

According to the article it was an unprovoked attack. It looks like someone just hated cops, he was probably in a gang-rich area.
Awful. The guy didn't do anything wrong at all. He was just eating his meal after buying a kid his own.
Edit: Doesn't sound odd at all. Cops get shot at all the time, you know. It's something gangs like to do.

I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorIt's probably someone who thinks like the idiots who were rioting in Britain: "oh, those cops all be oppressing on us!"
The bastard...

Gangs in the US are much better organized, and, naturally, much better armed. I doubt this was a gang killing, though. It screams "random acts of violence..."
I am now known as Flyboy. It does highlight something — despite the massive degree of tension between law enforcement and citizenry in Britain, I suspect that cop-killing isn't nearly as common.

It's not normal here in Central Texas, either, but the case itself is nothing new! Be a little considerate of neighborhoods full of gang violence, please.
I'm pretty sure the concept of Law having limits was a translation error. -WanderlustwarriorThere are California gangs that require killing of a police officer for initiation, IIRC.
Humans Are Bastards simple as that.
Being Good Sucks. Being randomly murdered by people with a grudge against your overall occupation is an occupational hazard of wearing the badge. In other news today, People Sit On Chairs.

The human race is stupid at best and bastardly at worst. Moral people are the exception, not the rule, and it's even worse with What You Are in the Dark (or, more accurately, the removal of society).
This is just one more bit of evidence as to that fact.
I am now known as Flyboy. And this has become an "Oh how horrible!" /"Let's all talk about what a bastard the guy who did it is and oh, good, he's dead too." thread.
Locking. There's no conversation here, just bitching.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.
