If a majority of Silent Hill's output doesn't fit the list, I don't know what will.
One of the freakiest of freaks has got to be William Birkin.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Uh, maybe these or these images from Persona 2?

...a little brother should belong to his older sister, right? - Orimura ChifuyuThis motherfucking hellspawn.◊
... What? Spiders are creepy.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Any species Head Crab in the Half-Life games. Ugh.... Just looking at these little bastards makes me sick. Especially that gross suction hole on the bottom of them. It doesn't help that there are zombies in the game that have these disgusting little beasts ON THEIR HEADS. *Shiver* The head crabs on their own will lunge at you while making this horrific screeching noise. Oh and this thing◊ from the new Splatterhouse game. I also can't make this post without mentioning the undead fetus boss from the original Splatterhouse along with the disgusting final boss from the same game. Just look at a video of them. Oh, and pretty much any boss from Splatterhouse 2. Watch a boss run of it.

Un-frickin-touchable.@djmaca: Dragon Age II has spiders the size of elephants. But I'm sure as hell not going to look for pictures of it.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."This video should give you some ideas.

Raso: That... game seems to have a thing for penis monsters...
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."Well "Mara" is In Buddhist myth is all about temptation, and in the Japanese the word Mara is a colloquialism for "penis".
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Plus what one of them actually IS.
...Links not necessary, the name should make it pretty obvious.
I like that Mister Face thing and William Birkin. I don't really find spiders that scary.

Un-frickin-touchable.Those were some good suggestions, thanks.
Everything Is Better With Body Horror, people, especially if you are trying to write a horror Urban Fantasy.

Anyway, I don't really find most video game monsters scary, just gross at most o-o There are expections though, the "Mr. Face"(which is just nickname, I think the name for enemies in Amnesia: Dark Descent is "Gatherers"(there are only two type of them though)) is pretty freaky, but thats because I find Slenderman style of things creepy xD
I'm writing a novel and I need monsters that are as horrific and grotesque as possible. I like the designs of monsters in Dead Space and anything I can use for references? When you post, I would certainly appreciate if you posted links as well (yes, I'm prepared) I would especially appreciate images of humanoid monsters. Thanks.
