I see someone started a wiki article for Smiley. Is anyone else planning to watch it solely because Toby is in it? That... I thought I would never be that kind of fan, but it seems I was wrong about myself.

Yeah I made the page.
As for seeing the film because of Toby. I don't even know how big his role is. He'll probably be a secondary character at most. But he is a good actor and the film looks good (my god that mask is Nightmare Fuel at its best) so I'll still see it regardless.

Seems Toby likes to play against type. Or maybe he won't be against type in a horror movie, which would be interesting. I won't be watching it though, as I have a particular dislike for horror.

A month ago, Tobuscus and his friend Seth went on a trip to Europe including meeting up with the fans in Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Paris and London. The London meet up was special since........ see for yourself.
Due to the large crowd, the police were called to break it up.

I saw that whole business (on You Tube, anyway), including that Toby had to escape from the crowd by climbing (or being pushed over) that fence, and sustained some injuries in the process. So did several crowd members. I don't blame Toby necessarily; he just wanted to meet up with some fans and had no idea of how many would show up.
I don't think he appreciates just how popular he is.

Since it's been a while since I've posted in this thread, I'd like to add that his Walking Dead playthrough is making me shiver, and that's rare for a video game. That story is messed the fuck up.
Also, Tobuscus vs. Deadmau5 in Need for Speed: Most Wanted is hilarious.

I watched a few of his videos/series... then was disgusted with how he handled himself on Minecraft multiplayer. I thought he went there to get some advice on how to play the game, but then he just acted like a complete jerk.
I understand that he was a bit of a jerk on the other videos I saw as well, but that was to the NPCs and for "the Audience's" entertainment. Doing that to normal people was just a bit much for me to handle.

When was this? I remember him playing it on the X-Box a while back when he had no idea what he was doing, so all these people joined his server and started messing with him. That only lasted a short while, though.

I watched it again and... it is not as bad as I remember. I think I just overdosed on his other vids and, after that start, expected it to get worse as time went on. Though the whole thing about running away from the guy who came over to help him and making a big deal of killing a sheep is still anoying.

Toby vlogged recently about how Google is apparently working with him to produce music videos of many of the songs that he's improv'd while gaming, a la "I Can Swing My Sword".
The latest gem that I cannot stop watching is from the Diamond Mining Song episode of Minecraft, aka "Mine the Diamonds".
Before this video was set to private, Toby reveals an interesting revelation from his mom.
It turns out his dad is actually his step-dad! In this video, he has just meet his birth father and his children, Toby's younger half-siblings.
What surprised me was he took everything with stride and still love both of his dads.
To me, Tobuscus is marginally less annoying than Pewdiepie. But only just so.

He's more than halfway funded after only two days. I think this one is gonna make it. 
I first saw a Tobuscus video at a Halloween party, when my friends (randomly) went on Youtube and showed me the Assassin's Creed and Bioshock Infinite literals. More recently, the last Literal I remember watching was for Ascension, and I never really paid that much attention to anything of his beyond the Literals.
The reason I'm posting here, however, is because I just saw Tobuscus on a Cartoon Network commercial... talking to a poodle.
F#^@ this guy got popular. I remember that first literal, then the Revelations commercials and I was like, "Okay, good to see he's making money with it". Now he's got a Kickstarter for a video game, probably several companies asking for him to promote their games via literals.

Yeah, he's crazy popular now. I think his ADD (in this case, literal Attention Deficit Creator Disorder) is working against him, though — he's juggling so many projects that his complete lack of anything resembling organizational skills is biting him in the ass.

I didn't know about Chester See until now; I might check him out if he can do stuff of this quality.

for the Brave video game is amusing. Of all the contestants, Toby definitely has the best Scottish accent... although that's not saying much.
I've been listening to "The Sideburns Song" and I think I know what bothers me about it — it's an excellent song, but it's not as pure awesome as "Dramatic Song". It's gold to Dramatic Song's platinum. Which is not to say it's bad, just overshadowed. Still, I've been listening to it almost as much.
