I hope Sakuya and the gang makes an appearance. Actually, now that I think about it, this might connect with the Digital Prison the OVA was talking about. Then there's that short trailer for the rumored movie...

I bet if Asuras Wrath will be successful this .Hack will the same style of fighting mixed in with something like Dot Hack GU.

.Hack is very different and has its own gameplay style. Why would they incorporate Beat 'em Up mechanics?

It already had an Action RPG style. I think it would be interesting too see if they can use those mechanics for their boss fights.

Just so you know, they never said it was a game...

They need to localize the PSP game first... if at all. .-.

I'm honestly feeling very mixed emotions about this. The art direction and all looks beautiful, but I was more than a little disappointed to learn it was another sequel featuring a character with a Kite avatar instead of just making it an honest reboot.

Wait...is this just a Trilogy (GU recap movie) of Quantum? I've never had experience with anything post-Returner/GU, so I can't make any real substantial judgments.

Why would you want .//Hack to reboot?

I always found it weird that .Hack had a whopping seven helpings on the PS 2 and then just sorta disappeared. I only have Rebirth, but i love it.

It didn't disappear in Japan. It was just never localized. What I find funny is that LINK kinda spoils this movie.

The movie will come bundled with a "small game"

(sigh) another .Hack that won't be localized.... ;_;
