Motion to pull.
Reason:I have no idea what this has to do with the trope.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storySeconding Pull
Yeah... Totally don't get it.
The old caption was better: "Rakan hammers in the point." Would that (or no caption) make this serviceable? If not, then pull away.
But the second panel is slightly shrunk. I think slightly cropped, it could work. Lemme see if I can find the page.
Thirding the pull. It's a valid example, but what's being shown in the pic is way too obscure to work as a page image. Rakan (big dude with the blond hair) is seeing Negi interacting with his students and (in the second panel) remembering how Negi's dad used to interact in a similar manner with the princess that, IIRC, ended up being Negi's mom.

^^Um...no? The caption's the only part that I could identify as related to the trope.

Infinite Tree: an experimental story...
Oh, the bottom half's a flashback to his dad! I couldn't even tell at that size.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyKatekyo Hitman Reborn relies on this trope heavily and may have some good images.
For example, how about a comparison of these shots of generations ten and one (after some rearranging - they aren't in the same order)?
I think that would rely too much on inferrence...we need something that clearly shows the father/son relationship in the pic.
No, I think a man and a boy would easily be thought of as father and son. Maybe a caption?

Always hiding my keys in the bug bucket, you bastard dog.I don't think the father and son with AKs is a good picture—past the Unfortunate Implications—because the trope is supposed to be about identical children, or at least nearly identical. They're vaguely similar, but not enough to match the trope, in my opinion...

I am now known as Flyboy.Maybe it should go on Lamarck Was Right?
Always hiding my keys in the bug bucket, you bastard dog.Perfect!
I am now known as Flyboy. How about Batman and Superman and their Super Sons◊?
Jet-a-Reeno!Oh, man I hope that scales down well...
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things. This original cover◊ might prove a better source than the one I previously linked to. That image seems to have been used as a preliminary thumbnail image for the Super Sons collection, for use by online booksellers, and mostly seems to exist as a smallish image.
Jet-a-Reeno!That looks good.
I like it as well. It uses text the "right way" for IP.
First key to interpreting a work: Things mean things. It gets my vote.
Always hiding my keys in the bug bucket, you bastard dog.Should we wait a day for objections before we put it up?

Nominations for replacement images:
Is his dad a hustler, and he's happy because his son got a girlfriend? This image is incomprehensible to me.
