Maybe it's just me, but it feels very...wrong, to have a trope and a movie share a name and be separated only by the standard Main/Film tabs.

While the page's current state is probably "correct", I think it'd be better if the film page was called something like "Film: The Undead (1957)". I know, it's just a personal peeve, but I'm bringing it up anyway.

No, that's fine. It's the reason we have Namespaces in the first place. We certainly aren't renaming the trope, and if someone searches for the film that's the title they'd expect to find it under.

Namespaces really should be displayed in the overall page title.

They are, if you'r talking about the actual page. If you're talking about in links, to make the namespace show, all you need to do is use "." as the separator, rather than"/", like so: Film/TheUndead becomes The Undead; Film.TheUndead shows as Film.The Undead .
