Named after a renamed trope: Knifing The Libby In The Back

Since The Libby has been renamed, this trope needs to be renamed as well.

Since it was renamed to Alpha Bitch, I'd suggest renaming this trope to Backstabbing The Bitch. It's the same thing only using "bitch" instead of "Libby" and has Added Alliterative Appeal to boot.

How about Backstabbing the Alpha Bitch? Keeps the full context of the original title. There's no need to force Added Alliterative Appeal when the title would be less clear as a result.

Yeah, "the bitch" and "the alpha bitch" are definitely not the same thing.

We could also consider Betraying The Alpha Bitch for slightly less total letters, though it may be less evocative.

I like Backstabing The Alpha Bitch the best.

I'm fond of Knifing Alpha Bitch In The Back, myself.

Backstabbing the Alpha Bitch rolls off the tongue well compared to the other options, in my opinion.

Too early to tell. We need to give this time for people to find and comment on the thread. In a couple of days, if there's still no dissent, then we probably don't need a crowner.

"Backstabbing" is just such a better verb than "Knifing in the back" that I can't believe we weren't using it originally.

In terms of "not really helping," I like both names. At the very least, the one that doesn't get used should be a redirect.

"Knifing the alpha bitch in the back" is too wordy, in my opinion. It could work as a redirect, though.

That's why I didn't use "the"; admittedly, that turns it into near-dialog.

Knifing Alpha Bitch In The Back sounds like it's using bad grammar, since Alpha Bitch doesn't look like a name.

EDIT: I fail reading comprehension. I prefer Backstabbing The Bitch for conciseness, but I suppose it's important that we don't have this become too general for just backstabbing any bitch.

It's been two days with zero dissent. Normally crowners run for at least three, so I could see letting this go one more day, but I'm not sure it's necessary. Up to the mods.
