- Spoilers for new releases should not be discussed for at least two weeks. Rather, each title should have a dedicated thread where that sort of conversation is held. We can mention new releases in a general sense, but please be courteous to people who don't want to be spoiled.

I kind of get the impression that they're ignoring that particular aspect. I can't point to any one thing and say that it conclusively proves that, but I will point out that Ruffalo!Banner evidently doesn't feel the need to keep track of his heart rate.
It's technically still canon, but The Avengers and Winter Soldier went out of their way to emphasize that Hulking out is indeed an emotional trigger response and not a heartbeat one as The Incredible Hulk claimed. Fury mentioning that a drug to forcibly reduce heart rate didn't work for Banner sounds pretty close to a retcon, while the Norton one showed it being controlled temporarily by medicine.

...I thought it was a sneaky Hulk in-joke until I typed out out.

Yeah, I guess that's my only real problem with Bruce and Natasha hooking up. Betty really, really carried a torch for him and they're just kind of ignoring all that because the Hulk movie wasn't the greatest.
It'd be like Thor suddenly hooking up with Scarlet Witch or something.
One of the earlier reports (which was dismissed as fake, as was the whole party scene and Widow/Banner romance) was that Widow wants the relationship to be sexual, but that Bruce is worried he'd Hulk out.

Everybody wanted to hook up with the Scarlet Witch as I recall.
Even a guy that had never met her. And then his brain patterns made a robot want to hook up with her.
