Eddie Low from Grand Theft Auto 4 is the very definition of a Depraved Bisexual.
Seeing all these piss ant tropers trying to talk tough makes me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too.I believe this was asked a couple of pages back. The gay character in Earthbound, Tony, was in the 1994 SNES game, i.e. Mother 2.
You can't show 'mostly' lesbian tendencies...
There are too many toasters in my chimney!Um, why not? Sexuality isn't a radio button.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comBecause there is no such thing as being 'mostly' lesbian.
If you're a woman attracted to both men and other women, you're a bisexual woman.
A lesbian is someone who exclusively likes other women. No 'mostly', exclusively.
There are too many toasters in my chimney! So basically, in your world, every single person who has ever had a single sexual thought about the same gender is bisexual? Bear in mind you are setting an extremely rigid distinction.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comThere's a hell of a distinction between 'had a single sexual thought about a person of the opposite gender' and 'in the first game, she was flirting with men and women'.
There are too many toasters in my chimney!Oo oo, just remembered Mighty Jill Off. The Player Character is lesbian, and not through using a Gay Option.
Crassius Cario from Morrowind flirts with anything that moves.
Seeing all these piss ant tropers trying to talk tough makes me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too.The list that Feinoha provided the link to is certainly helpful. According to that list, the earliest instance of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transsexual (or Transgender) Characters is a text adventure game called Moonmist (1986) by Infocom. The character is a female artist who turned into a criminal because she was jealous that her girlfriend had gotten married. Unless proven otherwise, Moonmist might actually be the first game to feature a LGBT character.
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!Oh, yes. For those of you who are wondering about Fear Effect and the sexual preferences of the characters, check this out.
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!Rift: One of Trion's lore leads all but confirmed last week that Kira/Uriel (f/f) is canon.

How about Flea from Chrono Trigger? Definitely a cross dresser at the least.
This Space for RentWhich doesn't actually make Flea transgendered, let alone transsexual — just saying.
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.Which is why I said at the least. I am well aware that crossdressing does not always mean you are transgendered but it does raise some question about the character. The names of his attacks as I recall has something to do with rainbows so they may have been dropping hints there too. Now I'm about to punch my tablet for autocorrecting crossdressing to crisscrossing 3x in a row...
This Space for RentCrossdressing does not mean TG, but I am not sure if it falls under Queer?
There are too many toasters in my chimney!I think Flea was more a shot at 80s hair bands.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comAnd I don't want to sound like a jackass, but what's this about straight not being the 'norm'? When you say it's a problem that something is viewed/not viewed as normal you are giving 'normal' a positive/negative connotation that does not exist.
Also, I hate to say the obvious, but straight *is* the norm. Until and unless the world ceases to be 90-95% heterosexual, it will continue to be that way. Whether 'normal' is synonymous with 'good' is another story ( Hi, I spend time on geek message boards, that isn't 'normal' either ).
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comFlea in Chrono Trigger definitely counts. Also Birdie from Street Fighter. Ash from Streets Of Rage.

There is this one game titled Hell A Cyberpunk Thriller (1994). The main antagonist in the game is the Imperator Solene Sollux ("Imperator" is Latin for "Emperor", by the way). The character is voiced by Grace Jones (who does an impressive job sounding ambiguously like a man or a woman), and more than once the character's gender being indeterminate is given a Lampshade Hanging. Also, Sollux also seems to be a robot or a cyborg, due to the robotic parts he/she/it has. The character would probably be considered a transsexual character.
Oh, Equestria, we stand on guard for thee!I thought Flea was a girl.
This website has a list of LGBT characters. Scroll down if you want to see more.
Seeing all these piss ant tropers trying to talk tough makes me laugh. If Matrix were here, he'd laugh too.Flea himself says he's a dude after being called a girl. I think he qualifies since...I'm sorry, he's got boobs. Magic or not, that definitely blurs a lot of gender lines.
There are two games that I can think of that, at the very least contain one LGBT Character Twin Blades: The Reaping Vanguard and Embric of Wulfhammer's Castle The Protagonist of Twin Blades, Sister Angelika, was in a relationship with another Nun named Magdalena as revealed at the end of the game As for Embric, Louni is explicitly stated to be a lesbian by a number of the other characters, I can't say much for the others though.
Cappuccinos for everyone!-Me
