Dang, I may have to restart.
EDIT:
Wait, like the Ullapool Caber? Do you mean it blows up on a successful hit?

"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelWith regard to this:
The Damocles creates a point explosion on the opponent which basically ragdolls anyone you hit. It has infinite usage (As a melee weapon) and it doesn't actually hurt you.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.@Rocket Dude - Don't know about that, but the Damocles ALWAYS causes an explosion every time you score a hit on the enemy.
The Arrancadora is even more devastating...
Oh and also...
1.) If you're opting to have a "Psi Force" while wanting to use your powers and implants more often, consider Endurance as your secondary attribute (Hell, upgrade your heart for it too. Its worth it). Endurance decreases the rate of "energy" used on casting anything that needs energy. This also comes with the added unintentional bonus of taking advantage with Heavy Armor.
2.) Some Monolith Turrets mount "ROCKET LAUNCHERS"; make sure you dispatch or hack them.
3.) Strength will not only increase your melee attack and carrying capacity; it will also let you THROW CARS!!

Endurance is the One Stat to Rule Them All isn't it? I mean it gives health and stamina bonuses. and stamina is based off of EVERYTHING.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.Kind of, but only for Cybernetic Implants...
The PSI force attribute is just as important; since it makes your powers stronger and that's a big deal if you want to kill a Deus Ex Machina with Dragon's Breath.
Of course, the game will increase the stat points needed if you get too much of it. So consider thinking about the other attributes.
EDIT - Also think about the "sexy weapons" available at the store..most of them need a good amount of attributes to buy.
EDIT 2 - Also, it DOESN'T give you more Stamina..it only reduces the drain of your PSI powers at a small percentage. That's the "Heart" implant I was talking about.

Even when I max out my STR stat as much as possible at the beginning, heavy armor + miniguns + spare drums = still heavy enough to badly slow me.
Unless you intend to be a heavy character...the next best thing is the S6000 Rifle...which has 100 ammo, lighter magazine, surprisingly accurate, and decent firepower.
Survive more often with Endurance
Bosco is my personal favorite. The silenced 1-shot kills is something to be reckoned with.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans.I just roll dual pistols, compact SMG and the Bosco auto-sniper. Probably should ditch the Uzi, though, since my dual pistols get a Full Auto mode.

"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelPistol+Sword is Awesome, but Impractical due to the way melee blocking works.
Apocalypse: Dirge Of Swans. Also, there's an online co-op mode, but I've been told that getting it to work is difficult.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelJust got through Monolith. Decided to spam clones.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific Mackerel@Charpocalypse - Try raising the Endurance stat as well, Strength is only good for melee and Agility is better at making you run faster anyway...
Also, you could use a Cybernetic "power" called "Dermal Sheath" which gives you nigh-invulnerability should it combine with your Endurance stat. You should also research a component called "Z.O.B13"; which increases the armor's durability passively.
On "Cybernetic Implants", I suggest developing the "Adrenaline Pump" for HP bonuses AND faster energy recovery for the Dermal Sheath..
@stevebat - I agree...it also wastes ammo.
@Rocket - If you're playing the game to gain brozoufs, you should kill some streums on your own..

I was playing to live, and I really did not feel like blowing ammo considering that I'm running around looking for crap.
Anyways, I tested out the Damocles today. Nice.
"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelWhat Level are you guys anyway??
Is it just me or is the save system for this game really really messed up?
I exit a game and when I come back to restart I am returned to an earlier point in the previous level/mission with all of my levels/XP still intact and still carrying the loadout I had when I first quit.
Which is abusable to say the least.
Yeah, I don't know why they had to operate on this odd Avatar system instead of having a classic save system, but I guess it's so that you can use the same Avatar in multiplayer.
But hey, it allowed me to finish Monolith without accidentally hurting Dutch, so yeah.

"Hipsters: the most dangerous gang in the US." - Pacific MackerelI'm thinking I should just see if I can beat the game with an Endurance + heavy armor + minigun playthrough and *then* experiment.
I bought this a while ago, and I loved this game. Anyone still have it?
Me and my friend's collaborative webcomic: Forged MenI do...want to play online...but hope you're not in the US, or it's gonna lag as hell...
Give me cute or give me...something?
Accidentally hitting any ally will lead to a Disappropriate Retribution..YOU DIE...for the record, Dutch is pretty stupid.
The only thing you can do is NOT do anything by accident...since source ai can't really forgive you much.
@Eyclonus - Buy an Excidium if you're a sniper guy, its an anti-tank rifle that can pierce through the mass hordes of Jian and Manduco. http://eyedivinecybermancy.wikia.com/wiki/Excidium
My Character is a Level 42 Equilibrium Lord.
Here are some other random tips to help you strengthen...
1. Spend some of your Brozoufs on Research and not just on implants, implants can get expensive overtime and "breakthroughs" give you some small bonuses like "Bester Training Method" giving off +2 Psi Force to dramatic ones like "Cybernetic ultra conductor"; which halves the energy drain of your augmentations.
2. A Psi Transmutation of yourself has a lot of HP and can carry better firearms. Thing is you can only summon one.
3. Buy a Bear Killer; its a pistol that can RAPE an interceptor with a few well placed shots. Its a must-have if you're opting for a Versatile character.
4. The Monolith is a really cool stage that will help you grind for XP and a hacker's favorite area (A lot of turrets mean a lot of allies once you hack them). Most enemies are Metastreumonic Force creatures and some giant saytr House of the Dead 2 boss lookalike with 2 war hammers.
5. Damocles = Melee Hand Grenade.
6. As far as I know, you can't carry a battleaxe as a melee weapon nor have I seen anyone carrying any.
7. Aim for the Deus' head.
8. In the Hacking Minigame, use "Mask" repeatedly to reduce the enemy's damage potential. The enemy will be forced to use "Overflow" to increase his attack power at the cost of his defense. And try to shield yourself so that he'll be bothered in using "Scan". This will frustrate a LOT of the opponent's attempts to fight back, but the process in hacking is slow...but you won't be yawning if you don't want to DIE losing.
9. "f" is set to Fire Mode.
10. Use the Command wheel "c", you'll set up a lot of powers this way.
11. Hold Shift+LMB to fire a Psionic Blast.
12. You can use Psi powers on the fly by pressing "z", pressing "x" will swap between the powers you have.
13. Order your clones to "Go Hunt!", you'll be surprised just how accurate polyclones are when they're not following you. Your "Cannon Fodder" clones even "LOB GRENADES".
I'd LOVE to help everyone like this game, ask me anything that isn't plot based and I'll do my best to provide some info.
