That one is simple and clear.
Reality is that, which when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away. -Philip K. DickOn the flip side, Sarah Hoffman and a few others have actually taken to using the term "pink boy" as the value-neutral term for boys with feminine interests.
I liked Tomboy And Sensitive Guy the most.
On another note, what will we do with the trope that this one was misused for? I think it's widespread enough to warrant a trope in itself, but we could just list the inversions on Blue Boy, Pink Girl.

The thread seems to be in concusses that a name change is in order (although there were a couple of detractors.) As there are plenty of acceptable examples, might I suggest a crowner?
Agree with crowner. I suggested a rename for this before, but literally everyone had a different opinion so the thread got nowhere. So nice to see that we can actually get progress at TRS more often than not.
My vote would be for Tomboy And Sensitive Guy, as well.
Bump. Anyone gonna make the crowner?
I made a crowner here.

"Learning without thinking is labor lost. Thinking without learning is dangerous."I actually quite like this trope name, and feel it conveys the trope relatively well.

"You want to see how a human dies? At ramming speed." - Emily Wong.Bumping for more votes.
"Learning without thinking is labor lost. Thinking without learning is dangerous."Consensus seems to favour renaming it. I say we go for it.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartIt does indeed. Calling.
I didn't write any of that. Thanks for making the first crowner.
Given the support for a rename, there is now an alternative titles crowner here. Feel free to add names as you see fit.

"irhgT nm0w tehre might b ea lotof th1nmgs i dont udarstannd, ubt oim ujst goinjg to keepfollowing this pazth i belieove iN !!!!!1 dInverted Gender Roles seems like it could be about a setting that inverts them, rather than a couple that inverts them. So I wouldn't support that option.
That said, Masculine Girl, Feminine Boy seems a bit out of line with the snowclone pattern; usually it's girl-guy rather than girl-boy. (Ie. Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl, Tiny Guy, Huge Girl, etc...)
EDITED IN: Then again, Pink Girl, Blue Boy uses "boy" instead of "guy." In order to make the snowclone pattern consistent either that trope or the other tropes will need to be renamed.

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartMasculine Girl, Feminine Boy seems to be in the lead right now, so I guess we may as well go with it. It doesn't fit with the naming pattern of Savvy Guy, Energetic Girl or Tiny Guy, Huge Girl, but it at least fits with Pink Girl, Blue Boy.
Actually, X Girl Y Boy is probably a better naming pattern anyway, since "guy" can be gender-ambiguous while "boy" is not. Perhaps it's trope of the X Guy Y Girl naming pattern that need to be renamed.

"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartMasculine Girl, Feminine Boy has the clear lead in the crowner. Should we lock the crowner and go with it?

I say go ahead with it.

See How To Move A Page.
Yeah, unwritten rule number one: follow all the unwritten procedures. - CamacanI was not referring to you in particular; I was just saying that my suggestion to go ahead with it was in response to your post.
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartWell, either way, I did it. Oh, and I cut out two paragraphs about pink formerly being associated with boys, and blue being associated with girls.
Also needs a lot of work in the comparing and overlap lists. Those are a mess.
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.

I like that title as well.
