"My opinion on this place?" he asked Xigbar. "I've an eerie feeling that the Doctor called, if I am not mistaken, deja vu. This place is frighteningly similar to the Sky Kingdom, back in Al-'Alam in my home Plane... Of course, this isn't the place, the magic in the air isn't the same, but still."

The voice of thy brother's blood crieth unto me from the ground

Stranger shook himself to dislodge the snow in his fur before talking. "Yeah, let's go. Sooner we, get out of this stuff, tha better"

He continued walking towards the fire, but at an increased speed.

"Yea well, the only thing that this place reminds of was The World That Never Was, and that's pushing it." Xigbar replied as he looked at the city once more.

Chun-Li crossed her arms and frowned at Jail, "Is that right?"

Obviously, Grey was not the only one peeved at Jail. In fact, had Jail explained his clones more, she would've found some very, very disturbing similarities between Jail and M. Bison's forces. Whereas Jail created 12 female clones and brainwashed a 13th member, M. Bison would make brainwash 12 members and clone a 13th member. Needless to say, Chun-Li felt Subaru had good enough reason to want revenge on Jail. After all, he kidnapped and brainwashed Subaru's own sister.

"I shall be keeping my eye on you, Jail," Chun-Li stated to the Doctor. "Your group didn't sound that much better than Shadaloo."

"However, we have a mission to accomplish," Chun-Li pointed out to Cletus, Jail, Grey, and Subaru. "We should figure out what that mission is."

Wizard Needs Food Badly

Dodgers, meanwhile, was still trapped inside the bubble created by his own Bubble Gun. He then began to run inside of it, knocking over a few dinomen, all while laughing:

"Hoo hoo! Look at me, mom, I'm a squirrel!"

The Cathedral... ...as they call it

Antroz looked around at the champions around him.

"If anyone wants a quick ride over I can comply".

Antroz spread his wings and flapped them abit while not so much as to achive lift off.

The Boy here with the green sock on his head and the bright eyes is hiding some trick up his sleeve; his sword gives me uneasiness and......in everyway he resembles one of those bumbling Toa 'heros';it would be best to watch out for him incase he does something incredibly....stupid.

"That's nice, dear. Just wash your hands before dinner, 'cause we're having victory tonight!" cried Tick, as he delivered a noogie to some indiscriminate beast."

Jail let out a tired sigh.
"I am not denying anything of that, I am a monster. However, I am a monster on your side. You can watch for subterfuge all you want, there will not be any."

"Rey, wait -" Link reached after Rey's rapidly disappearing form, as if trying to call him back with a simple gesture - then he sighed softly and set off after the wrestler, soon falling into step behind him.

From his expression, it was clear that he wanted to say something... but didn't dare to. Maybe it was fear of negative repercussions, maybe it was because even he himself hadn't worked out what he wanted to say. In any case, he remained silent.

“Jail...” A rather scary female voice finally spoke up,

“The only reason I don't beat you to within an inch of your life is that I would likely wreck all this equipment that is needed here for these people to survive.” Subaru was angry.

Wait, that's not really putting in perspective. Subaru was angry in the same way the surface of a star might be slightly hot.

She was beyond furious. But she had her temper under control.

“Learn some tact or you'll talk yourself into a situation you can't get out of.” Turning back to Grey and the others,

“How long can we keep this equipment going?”

"I'd need to get a better look at the inner workings. But I think getting into the city proper could do these folks some good, the machines there are probably what they're intended to use, these might just be backups."

"Fine. I guess what's done is done, and you aren't as bad as some people I used to know," said Grey to Jail, almost spitting the words 'some people' like it was poison. Clearly he bore a grudge rather hard once he got it.

Grey continued to stare at the floor, as though it contained knowledge hitherto unknown to mankind. Since the ground obstinately refused to share its' secrets, Grey settled for practically boring a hole through it with his gaze. When Subaru asked about how long they could keep things running*

, he shrugged.

"I dunno. I know nothing about this sort of thing, and none of my copied forms would help," he replied listlessly, even though the question probably wasn't aimed at him. "I'm only good at killing things, and I've got a feeling that we're gonna have to tackle that security system."

The reploid cradled his busters on his shoulders.

Locking you up on radar since '09

As the group continued to battle the dinosaur humanoids, they were slowly spreading out and leaving Fluttershy without anyone to hide behind. Soon enough, the pony found herself surrounded again by three or four beings whom she perceived as teenaged dragons. As they closed in, Fluttershy's fear overrid her logic more and more until finally she went completely stiff again and fell over, bleating like a goat.

The one that can protect her directly was the fuzzle......

The fuzzle quickly bounced out of the way as Fluttershy collapsed, bumping into to her to try and make her move and run from the creatures. "Wake up. Wake up and run. They eat you! Run!"

The fuzzle got more and more worried, and as the dragon creatures got close, more and more angry. If one watched, they would see individual hair sticking up in every direction as the fuzzle begin to shake and emit strange noises, like growls and barks. Suddenly it rounded on the approaching creatures with a ferocity previously unseen in this particular fuzzle, its appearance radically different◊, and launched itself at the group in a frenzy of biting teeth and flying fur that would make even the largest predator think twice.

"Watch out, furball!"

Dodgers landed near the Fuzzle, still in his bubble. He smiled, pointing at Fluttershy with his thumb:

"Listen, fuzzball, I don't like you, but right now, we have to protect the pony! And there's only one way to do that! Sweet bubble karate moves!"

The duck then proceeded to run inside the bubble, throwing himself against the dinomen, attempting to knock them out.

Prehistoric:

The dinomen's main assualt fell quite easily before the combined force of The Tick, Garland and Snake Eyes. Of the few that had gotten around the back to threaten Fluttershy, Dodgers managed to flatten two of them, whilst the third had it's hands full with the Fuzzle. The last one, however, was relatively unmolested, and started reaching down to grab her.

Having finished taking care of the main force, Garland started Dashing towards the stragglers possibly along with the others? to try and finish them off, but the wild woman from earlier flew out of the forest and some speed, tackled the last creature to the ground, and knocked it out with a solid kick upside the jaw.

Then, for some reason, the woman launched herself at Tick, attempting to tackle him to the ground as well. If he tried to counter, he would find that the womans prodigious strength matched his own.

Myth:

Those on the ground, as they walked, would eventually come across a pass between two mountains, with caves covering both sides. A few of them clearly had fires within, although none of those ones were close to the ground. The blizzard had also receded further as they journeyed, leaving a wind that was still harsh, but not physically painful to even face.

Meanwhile, those in the sky would find the city didn't even have a door, just an opening which led inside. It was a strange sight. There were many people there, wearing white and gold robes, many of which had blue or lavender hair, although blonde was also prevalent.

Some of these people were sitting at desks, writing. However, most of them seemed to be sleeping in one of the many beds that were scattered around the place. A woman who was sitting at a desk near the entrance looked up at the Champions as they entered. "Visitors?" she asked. "Am I truly awake, or do I dream still...?" She slowly shook her head, and rose up with a wide smile. "Welcome to Enhasa, City of Dreams, then. We strive to seek enlightenment within the bliss of sleep here."

War:

The Cathedral was open. Those who walked inside would see a few women dressed in nun's habits tending to the place, which looked fairly standard for a church: plush carpets, stained glass windows, pews, an altar. As the Champions entered, the nuns looked up at them, but notably avoided eye contact. "Oh... more... visitors...?" one of them asked, seemingly having some trouble with the words.

"Yes... Magus is the most powerful user of magic in recorded history, to the extent that many of the Fiends have ended up worshipping him as a god, a practice the man himself doesn't seem to care about one way or the other."

"In any case, they recently secured a major victory on the enemy home front: the capture of Queen Leene of Guardia, the only human kingdom that remains unsubjugated. Ransom has been deemed unnecessary, so they'll simply maximise the breaking of enemy morale. Might even be the last straw needed to take the Zenan Bridge."

They arrived at the front of the keep, which the figure just plain strolled into unceremoniously.

PA:

"300 years of continual degradation. The Day was really bad, and came completely out of nowhere. We weren't ready to survive destruction of that magnitude. And then the Spawn started harvesting the bodies, and killing every living thing they found, and consuming the soil and water..."

Then he just stared in confusion at the arguments.

A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they will never sit in.

"AND LET ME GUESS, YOU PLAN ON SEIZING THE LAST HUMAN KINGDOM TO INCREASE YOUR KINGDOM?" Dubix said.

"Sorry about them. They're fresh out of the cryo pod. Anyway, where's this city?"

...and that's terrible.

"DAH!" The Tick was too surprised to resist as he was knocked to the ground, and was certainly in no position to get up, as he soon found. "My, my. You're stronger than you look, madam. A lot stronger. Are you by any chance a relative of Jungle Janet?"

-DK looks up, wondering if the cathedral's columns can be climbed and whether there's anything at the top.-

"That's horrible..." replied Grey. He mentally noted Cletus's excuse down as a 'good save' and continued on. "If there's anything we can do to help, just ask. I guess you could say we're experienced with helping people out - and we don't expect anything in return, okay? Just knowing I've made the world a better place is good enough."

Even if he didn't feel it, the reploid forced a smile and gave the survivors a thumbs up (or at least as well as he could manage one with his hands preoccupied).

Locking you up on radar since '09

Dodgers was surprised by the wild woman's attack on Tick, but he simply rolled over to her, putting on his best smile:

"Why, hello there, madam! You have just been saved by Duck Dodgers, protector of Earth! And might I add, you also look rather dashing tonight."

He then tried to kiss her, but found himself still trapped inside the bubble. He immediately tried to hug the woman, the bubble still stopping him. He then pointed at the bubble, screaming:

"Would someone POP this already?!"

The fuzzle, having finished off its enemy viciously, grinned evilly at Dodgers' request. Launching itself at the bubble, it clamped its teeth down on it and popped the bubble. Hopefully dumping the duck onto the ground.

Rey tilted his head, glancing around the cathedral, but then without hesitation approached the nun who had spoken, flicking back his visor and smiling as nicely as he could.

"Pardon me, Sister, we do not mean to be a bother. We have heard that the queen of the land is missing, and we were hoping to join the search for her. So long as we're here, do you and the other sisters know anything about this, or where we could begin to search?"

Easing back into life one step at a time

The fuzzles' bite on the bubble immediately created a small hole, one that didn't pop the bubble, but instead sent it flying all over the place, Dodgers screaming inside of it and trying to get out, until it finally landed with a splaft on the ground. Dodgers raised his finger:

"I-I'm alright... I'm fine..."
