Fluttershy looked at Scorpion quizzically. "What do you mean by - ?" Her question was interrupted when Tyrell suddenly landed near her. "Oh my goodness, are you alright?" she said, trotting up to him and lowering her neck as a handhold.

For the others who had just arrived out of the Beast machines challenge, there was nothing very unusual in them getting back to the city........

However it did seem that giant mechanical bats had populated the city while they were away since there was one gliding above them now.

Antroz looked down from the sky and saw the collection of strange beings beneath him. Several were humanoid and one was.....

Don't remeber ever encountering a Rahi of yellow colour that was that shape.......

Antroz had never seen a pony before but then again, he had never seen a giant crystalline city that wasn't made out of proderimis.

Maybe I should introduce myself.

Link had been standing some way away from Fluttershy and company, still looking sadly contemplative - when Tyrell abruptly stumbled out of the portal.

"Are you okay?" he called.

Putting aside his thoughts for a moment, he ran over to them, kneeling down and helping the Fire Adept up to his feet before observing his wound. "It doesn't seem like anything more than a flesh wound, Tyrell. Still a nasty cut, though..." He reached into his pouch before bringing out a flask filled with Red Potion. "Here. Drink this. It'll make you feel better." He deliberately forgot to mention that this was the last flask of Red Potion he had in supply - or any type of health restorative at all, in fact. It didn't matter. He would just have to make do with what he had if the need arose later. Right now, someone else was in need.

So, you're willing to give up your last Red Potion to heal a flesh wound and yet you didn't want to even try to do anything to save the Maximals? An entire world? He paused at the sudden voice in his head, which was asking questions which he had no answer to and which he did not want to face.

"Um... just hand me back the bottle when you're finished," he said, giving a slightly distracted, half-hearted smile that hid no little anxiety. With that said, he turned and walked away, a noticeable worry in his face that any one of the bystanders would be able to pick up with little difficulty.

After he had gone a short distance, he slumped down on the grass, covering his head with his hands, trying to clear the turmoil that raged in his mind.

Goddesses. What have I done? What should I have done? Answer me...

Because I don't really know anymore...

It was not self-pity he was immersed in, nor was it any emotion of unreasonable despair at his actions. It was a cry for answers to the jumble of questions running around in his head, a plea for a guide, a key to understanding the confusion he now found himself in. What was he to do? He had never experienced something like this before. Maybe that was what made it all the more potent.

Help me. Please.

Cletus looked at Fluttershy, but trained his pistol on Scorpion. His body language clearly indicated he was royally pissed at something, probably the ninja. His voice, however, was obviously indicated an attempt to rein in his anger.

"Yeah, he kicked me under the car's wheels and into the collapsing tunnels. He kind of murdered me. And then I ended up here. Thanks for noticing, by the way."

As he leaned against what felt like a horse a couple of people said some things he couldn't hear. It sounded kind of like he was underwater actually.

Oh great, my second concussion of the day. Want a helmet.

Wiping the blood from his eyes he saw a person-shaped blur in green armor of some kind offering him a bottle of red stuff which he gratefully accepted. Normally he'd just walk it off but you don't argue with doctors, especially medics. They'll only give you medicine when they think you need it after all.

As he drank the potion his vision slowly cleared, his bruises faded, his cut closed, and his hearing returned. Actually, this was the best Tyrell had felt since he crashed his glider. He didn't even have a headache.

"Hey thanks for the potion doc," He called to Link, "That's some really good stuff. This your pony?"

Tyrell had never seen a yellow pony before but she was the most adorable thing he'd ever seen. He was having a hard time not gushing over her the same way he'd gush over a little kitten. She was just so CUUUUTE! In the end he just couldn't resist giving Fluttershy a big hug.

Someone has heard Link's pleas. After all, he said he'd watch over his ancestor, and after that said ancestor was returned to his world, he felt that he had some responsibility toward the young Hero of Light. Galen appeared before Link again, blue light shimmering around his character. "Link..." he said.

Link looked up at the spectral, robed figure before him. "Galen..."

"Are you here... to help me?" He needed answers. Who better to ask than one who had known the Hero himself? He continued on, assuming that he was indeed here to offer his advice.

"They say in my world that the dead often have more insight into the affairs of the living than the living do into the affairs of the dead."

"You know what's happened. Tell me. What would the Hero have done in my case?"

"Did I do the right thing?"

Fluttershy was long surprised at Tyrell hugging her. At this point she merely took it in stride. She then saw Yaguruma walking away from the group. Despite not recognizing him on the spot, the pegasus felt some familiarity with him......

"Hey, wait!" she called out, pulling away from Tyrell and flying up to the loner Rider. "I.....um....are you the.....um....grasshopper person from Cybertron?" she asked. It was painfully obvious she often did not initiate conversations first.

The Crystalline City...

Behind the red optical lenses of his helment, Sergeant Damballah narrowed his eyes as he stared at the cyborg before him. Guardsman Moore appeared to speak the truth; this 'General Grievous'—an absurd name if he had ever heard one; doubtless it was probably some manner of nom de guerre, unless whatever species this general belonged to actually named themselves after adjectives and the like—did indeed have flesh around its eyes...its repulsive, slitted yellow eyes that were clearly inhuman.

That it was not one of the vile Necrons brought the Space Marine little comfort and did absolutely nothing to make him lower his guard; after all, a xenos species he had never encountered before was still xenos—vile, inferior, things to be abhorred and subjugated if not destroyed outright. He knew that some elements of the Imperium believed it was necessary to interact with some of the less-hostile aliens in order to survive, and if the situation truly required it he himself was not above fighting alongside the eldar or the tau in order to defeat a common foe, but he knew that these were temporary alliances of convenience at best; when forced to cooperate with xenos, it was best to keep them at arm's length and be ready to turn on them at a moment's notice.

So would it be with this Grievous; Damballah would work alongside him it that were truly the only way to escape this strange, otherworldly metropolis, but at the same time he would watch this xeno cyborg closely.

Slowly, and with clear reluctance, the Salamander lowered his bolter. "...Very well, then."

He turned to face this latest batch of newcomers then, frowning as he saw what appeared to be a very small horse with wings and a vivid pink mane. The presence of such an animal here would have been strange enough, but then it opened its mouth and began to speak—in perfect Low Gothic, no less. What manner of strange mutant was this?

An alien? This was startin' to sound like a shitty science-fiction novel. Kinda'... what's the word? Ironic? Yeah, ironic. Here I was, the freak in the dive suit with a fist fulla' lightnin', and I had trouble believin' that aliens existed. It made sense at the time, but when I look back on it, it seems kinda' dumb. Anyway. This Grief Ass guy didn't seem like much trouble. I turned ;round to look at the new arrivals, a little shocked to see more people just appear outta' nowhere like that.

Most of 'em looked pretty normal. There was this one kid in a green dress, with a matchin' nightcap and really pointy ears. Musta' been some kinda' gene tonic. There was another guy, spiky red hair, seemed harmless. Then this one guy just... transformed, I guess is the right word, and sorta' jumped away. Yeah, that's right, jumped, like a man-sized grasshopper. And then there was... a horse. No, wasn't big enough to be a horse. It was yellow, with pink hair, a some kinda' tattoo on its rear. Then I ntoiced the wings. Was it possible to use ADAM on an animal? I thought about this for a second before the damn think started talkin' . Don't look at me like that, I'm tellin' the honest truth.

Perfect English, too, though it was kinda' soft, kinda' quiet. I just sorta' stared at it. And in my head, I just kept thinkin' Whatthefuckwhatthefuckwhatthefuckwhatthefuck. I stared it it for a while before shruggin'. Eh, what the Hell. If I was hallucinatin', might as well play along. I trudged over to her, I assumed it was a girl at least, and knelt down to eye level. I did the whole routine, chest then forearm, pointin' at the symbol, etc. I really doubted she'd get it, though.

Seeing Yaguruma fly off like that, Fluttershy became emotionally hurt. She was never well the type of pony to handle blatant rejection like that. She slowly landed and bowed her head, giving a really sad sigh. She then trotted back to the others. Was it something I said? she thought. I mean, he was so friendly to me before on Cybertron....why would he leave me like....? Maybe he doesn't like me.....? Like those animals -

Fluttershy realized her mind wandering wondering back to that horrible, horrible night and shook her head clear. When he looked up, she saw Delta. And appropriately reacted.

"EEK!!" she squeaked. Her further examined the massive creature, calming down when he saw it was another one of these monkey things, but inside a diving suit. The drill arms was kinda intimidating though. "Oh, hello there," she greeted. When he started pantomiming, she knew what the being was trying to convey. Animals in a magical environment that was micromanaged by magical ponies allowed for creature it slightly increased intelligence. "Oh, are you trying to tell me your name?" she asked. "My name is Fluttershy!"

The crystalline city...

Throne of Terra, the damned thing even had a name for itself—if one could even call such a ludicrous appellation as 'Flutter Shy' a name. What depraved mind would graft wings onto such an animal, forcibly dye its coat and mane in these clearly unnatural colours, experiment on its mind and body to make it capable of both thought and speech...only to curse it with a name of such absurdity? Sergeant Damballah had no idea who might do such a thing, but he suspected that any mind who would dabble in such bizarre and evidently purposeless craft as this would be completely insane...if not heretical and tainted by the Ruinous Powers.

"He is known as Delta," the Space Marine clarified, stepping forward to loom over Fluttershy in a menacing fashion. "Who or what is responsible for your existence?"

"They are looking for you," said the mysterious being simply as he watched the black sphere roll out of sight. "The security drones are aware of a foreign contamination, and now they are trying to root it out." As if on cue, an enormous grey triangle, resembling a flying pyramid and roughly seven feet tall, hovered past, rotating slowly as it made a strange noise that sounded like dozens of children humming in unison. As it passed, the floor and ceiling shifted polarities agian, and the group found themselves falling towards the ceiling... which evened out into the floor. Their strange guide continued down the twisting, labyrinthine halls, occasionally tapping on a book or piece of stonework as he did so.

"But take heart; we are almost at our intended destination, and then I am sure that all will be revealed for you..." Here, he looked at Rey and the Doctor specifically, smiling wryly as if aware of some fact that they were not. "And those of you who have already lived through a similar experience may recieve some clarification."

The group had now arrived at an enormous wall, larger than a skyscraper and many times as intreicate. Embedded in this wall were not windows, though, but doors, portals of all shapes, sizes, and construction, seemingly inaccessible to all not gifted with the ability of flight. The little man, though, simply jumped onto the wall, continued upwards, muttering something to himself, and selected a door seemingly at random, entering as he did so- but not before beckoning for the others to follow him.

Nanoha looked up in utter shock and awe at the huge amount of portals that lined the massive wall, even as she lept along behind the old man wil the glowing patterns on his skin to land on the wall.

But there's so many...

She made her way up to the spot that the old man had gone through and peered into the portal only briefly before heading through it herself.

Fluttershy backed off a bit at the sudden appearance of the very large and imposing space marine. She resisted to urge to run and hide somewhere. "Um......well......" the pony started. "Uh......sometimes during the spring I accidentally catch animals mating with each other, and I think that's how my parents made me....." Fluttershy was starting to get uncomfortable, mostly with the topic.

Until Shotaro arrived, whose leg's the pegasus immediately hid behind.

Grievous rolled his eyes as he turned. The green warrior was lowering his slugthrower. Good.

He ignored the equine animal as it hid behind the others and took his time to get his bearings in this place. Grievous walked away from the others, his claws clacking on the ground as he ran a hand along the one wall of a large structure. Interesting material.

He then moved to the top of a pile of crystal, looking for any sign of movement.
