Mv C 1: Oh wait
Been playing Origins for a while. Mv C 1 is harder than I remember, or perhaps I'm just too used to U Mv C 3 - I can outfight the computer well enough most of the time, but I can't chain normals into specials worth a damn, and you can forget about linking supers into combos (or doing longer combos in general).
On the other hand, Marvel Super Heroes is a lot easier than I remember. Maybe it's the greater focus on ground combos and slower speed, which allows my Street Fighter / Ko F instincts to kick in. Still can't link supers worth a damn, though, with the occasional exception of playing as Psylocke, who is currently my main.
Also, my memories of Vanilla Maximum Spider were correct - it looked cool, but damn was it crap.
