I concur. Also, if that's still possible, i'd like to pretend for an admin post on the server, so we don't have to always desperately call you to bring us away from the accursed Arena.

I don't think Morg is looking for more Admins at this point, apart from himself and Plumbum. However, if he is, I re-volunteer as well.

No, the problem is even admins can't change the map manually. Only Morg himself can do that.

Which is why this seriously needs to be fixed. Morg, have you tried asking the people that run the server about it?

Correction : ALL admins can change the map. Only Morg can edit the map rotation.

I dunno if you've been on the server when I have, but I'm always asking if anyone wants the map changed when we hit Arena. I rarely get answered.

I think normally when we're on, you're not, and vice-versa. Trans-Atlantic time zone differences, and all that.

Yes, I have edited the map rotation, the maplist, even tried deleting the very BS Ps of Arena. But like some sort of plague, it refuses to die. In all honesty, I don't know what to do. I'll probably open a ticket, see if that helps.

I may be joining you guys over there soon. Just got into TF 2 yesterday.

Basic summary:

• If you die in Arena, you have to spectate for the rest of the round.
• There is one control point that is inaccessible for several seconds into the round.
• You win by either capturing the point or killing everyone on the enemy team.

Arena, aka All out brawl and when you die, you dead, no spawn.

Yeah, the Troper server is a silly server for wacky fun between tropers. No need to go to serious with only team-talk.

Particularly when each team is usually only 3 or 4 people.

Mostly it's just a case of "Hey I'm hopping on for a quick game, anyone want to join me?" and things just snowball from there.

Pretty spontaneous: you just let us know here or send us an invite on Steam.
