Less than 48 hours now, gentlemen. Soon, it'll be time to start cleaning up the bloody chunks of Fring (plotwise).
"She was the kind of dame they write similes about." —Pterodactyl JonesStill holding out for Franken-Fring.
I'm a skeptical squirrelWouldn't put it past los Pollos Hermanos. If they keep packets of everyone's blood type, no reason they shouldn't have a replacement brain or two.
Jesse in season 5: "Seda ... give? Seda-give?"
"She was the kind of dame they write similes about." —Pterodactyl JonesThis whole season is just going to be one giant Break the Haughty. Walt's gonna keep doing shit and say it's okay because he thought of it, and it will all come crashing down.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult. So, any as to why Walt is purchasing a machine gun?
"Urge to thump... rising." -FighteerMagnets, miracles yo.
Walter White was nowhere to be seen this episode.
A love that crushes like a mace.Congratulations on those who called Huell swiping the cigs from Jesse. Of course HOW Walt poisoned the kid is still up in the air.
I had a feeling Beneke would still be alive. But judging Skylar's reaction and Walt getting the ricin cigarette back, that may change.
Is it really "calling it" when that's exactly what Jesse initially said?
The only problem I had with this episode was the whole magnet thing. 1). Why would Mike help when he could just stay safely south of the border and 2). Would the magnet actually work?
The magnet? Maybe. However, the more salient question is whether the magnet would matter: increasingly, the first order of business with seized PCs is to make a forensic copy of the hard drive and store it in a different location (a different building, if feasible). If Walt's lucky, the Albuquerque PD is behind the times w/r/t best practices.

"She was the kind of dame they write similes about." —Pterodactyl JonesWouldn't surprise me. I mean ABQ doesn't strike me as a hive of cyber crime. And they only had it for, what, a day? Maybe 2? There's probably a waiting list for those back ups to be made. Then again, Breaking Bad seems pretty firmly planted in reality. Maybe it will come back to bite them in the ass.
Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally!A hard-drive can be effected by magnets, but their casing shields them from it pretty well. If it had a solid state drive, it couldn't do anything even then. In either case, the impact might have simply broken either.
Nice.

Finally I show that I watch and enjoy that has more than 100 post on this forum
Geez was thinking I had a very different taste than other tropers
Gifted like ChristmasI'm still wondering why Walt is living under an assumed name with a full head of hair and buying a machine gun.
"Urge to thump... rising." -FighteerMaybe Denny's doesn't serve unarmed bald guys.
"She was the kind of dame they write similes about." —Pterodactyl JonesI assume the cops finally caught up to him and he had to go on the run.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Narratively speaking, it's probably something that hasn't been directly introduced yet. Look at the various openings in season 2: it seemed like Walt's house was being investigated, but it turned out to be something else entirely based around characters who wouldn't even be introduced until later in the season.
Walt probably has to use the "end game" option from last season. As for the machine gun, well you're never truly safe in these situations are you?
Remember! Hyperbole is an exaggeration made for comedic effect, and shouldn't be taken literally!Mike-centric episode! I love how that guy always has his shit together. The interrogation scene was amazing.
And am I the only one who loves this line? "I'm not sure what movies you've been seeing, but in real life, we don't use killing people as a prophylactic measure."
Yeesh the ending to this week's episode was really...gross.
So many people getting set up to take down Walt, and he's so oblivious to it all.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Holy shit.
I started watching this series a few days ago, and I'm up to episode six. Fucking foreshadowing with the exploding mercury. I SEE WHAT THEY DID THERE. O_O
If anyone in the thread wants to kidnap me, I don't mind. We'd just be in their van drinking Mountain Dew and watching MLP for days on endAnd it only gets more awesome from there.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Though after Season 2, the chemistry kind of goes away (besides the cooking, of course).
The "chemistry" comes back at the end of Season 4 when Walt makes that pipe bomb. They don't actually mention things, but he's clearly using the ammonium nitrate from the cold packs as a strong oxidizer and cooking oil as a fuel source. (And they don't show what the blasting caps are made of, other than showing it's connected to a walkie talkie fuse). It's understandable why they don't mention anything because they don't want the audience building pipe bombs. And honestly, given Walt's level of skill, building a bomb is like tying shoes.
