D'yaaaaaaaaaaaaah ya beat me to it!
About time they do a stop-motion film. :)
Yo ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, he, he, he, he, he. That looks like it could be a good one. About time the pirate flick revival get something behind it other than Pirates Of The Caribbean.
Besides this, is Aardman planning anything else for their list of stop motion projects?
Is that a dodo?
HE HAS A DODO FOR A PET!!! :D
They got a version of Tortoise and the Hare in development. If this and Arthur Christmas do well, we might be getting another.
It's official; my beloved Aardman is finally coming back!!!!!
Looking for some stories? The UK trailer. This is even funnier than the other trailer, and they sing!
Hey, before Flushed Away, didn't they pitch a pirate movie to Dreamworks that got shot down because "no one liked Pirate movies anymore"?
Looks like they're finally making it on their own!
Is this based on Gideon Defoe's Pirates books? 'Cause if so, I am so there!
EDIT: I just noticed that the European title of the movie is the title of the first book, looks like I was right!

"Aren't you cold, Finn?"Yeah, this one is actually based on a book. But you're right, they did pitch the idea of a pirate movie back in 2000 which eventually became Flushed Away. I'm hoping they get to stick some elements from that idea into this movie. The trailer didn't disappoint at all, considering that I've waited six years for it!

Looking for some stories? And the morale of the story: Dream Works couldn't predict the movie trends if they saw it in front of them!
To be fair, I don't think anyone else saw it coming, either. And if Johnny Depp hadn't created the Captain Jack we know and love, it probably wouldn't have been as big a hit.
Looking for some stories?Should we make a page? it seems like we have enough pre-release information to make a proper page.
It's got a fish in a hat!

This feels like this century's Monkey Island!

Apparently, according to The Other Wiki, Crispin Freeman is the Narrator. Thoughts?

Wow, impressive resume. Good to see they picked an actual voice actor over just some random celebrity. Still, I wonder why they chose this guy.
Looking for some stories? They probably watched him in that series and thought he could make a good Lemony Narrator. Because in this movie, that would be brilliant.
Makes sense. Aardman does love their snarkiness.
Looking for some stories?Seems awesome
CRISPIN FREEMAN IS THE NARRATOR!?!? HOW THE HELL—
I like where this is going...
