Speaking of Gao Gai Gar, I was just listening to Kouryu and Anryu's theme, and it got me thinking of a who would be good opponents for the entirety of the Saikyo Yuusha Robo Gundan. I'm talking Enryu / Houryu / Choryujin, Fuuryu / Rairyu / Gekiryujin, Gouryujin, Genryujin (when Enryu combines with Fuuryu and Hyoryu combines with Rairyu), Goldymarg, Volfogg / Big Volfogg, Mike Sounders the 13th, and of course, Kouryu / Anryu / Tenryujin.

I suppose, we'd need to throw a few Transformers at them.

Harley doesn't even really use the hammer all that much anymore. In the movie she's got a baseball bat.

As for Ramona, I mean, she and Scott actually seem to have a healthy relationship where they care for and fight for one another - at least ignoring the league of evil exes. That seems mutual to me, even if a part of Ramona still pined for Gideon. Whereas Amy's is largely one-sided. Plus Ramona's story is about Scott trying to date her, and Amy's quest is about trying to date Sonic - thus, thematic contrast.

Similarities and thematic differences:

Harley and Amy

• Hammers
• Madly in love with someone who doesn't return the affection.
• Red.

Amy and Ramona

• Hammers.
• Ability to get from point A to point B quickly.
• One-sided affection/mutual affection.

...I guess that would actually be equal. But again, less work to use Ramona's sprite from the Scott Pilgrim vs The World game then to create a 3D model for Amy and maybe pilfer Harley's Injustice model, or copy it.

And really Harley's romance with the Joker is just emotional abuse. Recent days writers have pushed Harley as far away from the Joker as possible, leather-pantsed her to a degree. Amy isn't a case where she needs to be separated from Sonic. Her pursuit of him is mostly Played for Laughs... except for maybe Sonic Battle where IIRC she tried to kill him, but that's neither here nor there, that whole game was screwy.

Really my vote would be for Harley fighting Deadpool at some later point. Harley actually fought a Deadpool expy in Rebirth recently IIRC.

Unless they really plan on doing Amy v. Sally which would be hilarious and it would also mean we'd dip into Archie Comics. As I recall, there are some mean feats for just about everybody there.

The last time they used two characters from the same series/company, most of the people in this thread weren't enthused.
