We also have Naruto Uzumaki vs. Ichigo Kurosaki as a confirmed future episode, and Ganondorf and Sephiroth are confirmed future combatants.

Great. Here's to hoping that I get around to archive-binging the 50+ Naruto and 50+ Bleach chapters that I've yet to read before they get around to doing that fight.

I look forward to Ichigo vs Naruto. Though, it looks like it's still going to be a while before either series is going to properly end. What with Naruto getting a sequel, and I'm guessing we probably still have at least a year or two of Bleach before it finishes.

And I'm rooting for Ichigo.

NARUTO IS GETTING A SEQUEL?! I thought the Naruto Gaiden thing was just a quick look at the post-epilogue Narutoverse, or something like that.

I don't know if its going to be a full sequel but I think we're getting at least 30 manga chapters of the gaiden thingy, and then something about a Bolt focused movie? Or series? I dunno. Point is there's still a decent chunk of things to come.

They mentioned it at a convention a couple of years ago, but they said they were going to wait until both series were over.

Remember that, just because they say they want to do something, doesn't mean they will do it soon. I remember them saying they've wanted to do Voltron vs Megazord for years, but they haven't been able to yet.

Anyway, with Sam Fisher being confirmed, I think I'll go into this battle blind, without doing my own research. I'm not a big fan of either series, and Splinter Cell in particular is virtually unknown to me (I don't know anything about plot or powers, is what I mean).

Also, add me to the camp that thinks Galactus/Unicron will be the season finale. It's either that or Ganon/Dracula (the most requested on a fan blog, according to the Trivia page).

I wonder what Wiz and Boomstick's reaction would be to the confusedly self-contradicting nature of several parts of the Metal Gear main series' "canon", which in no small part is due to Kojima being apparently compelled to make new installments despite him declaring that the most recent one is Definitely the Last Installment of Metal Gear. Or give a passing mention to the whole new fiasco surrounding Kojima's impending firing from Konami and the total informational lockdown on him and the KojiPro staff while MGSV is being finished.

I thought Metal Gear 2 was non-canon? I have to say, I'm surprised this battle is even happening. Didn't Wiz and Boomstick say Snake/Sam would never happen because the fight would be too focused on stealth?
