One can almost always safely assume that people who make statements like this are racist. Unless they actually plan to ask for some kind of "proof of religion", they're going to rely on things like skin colour and dress to inform them of who might be a Muslim. In which case they are liable to turn away a lot of Sikhs, Arab Christians, etc, and let in a fair number of Bosnians.

Whats the prognostication on the Governor races? More Democrats or Republicans?
And is there a way to get more independent governors?
GOP Majority for sure,it looked like the Dems would get a majority,but thanks to a weak showing in Arkansas, a very corrupt and rightly unpopular governor in Illinois, and some issues in Connecticut...the GOP will probably take those.
Whereas the Dems probably have Maine in the bag,Pennsylvania is a given, given the incumbent is literally the most hated governor in the nation, and Florida is also highly likely to switch given how popular Charlie Crist was and how unpopular Rick Scott is now. (although now he's probably seen as an opportunist and the Florida Dems aren't exactly strong so it's surprisingly close but favoring the Dems).

Whos the corrupt governor of Illinois?
Currently, I'm visiting family in California, but I'm a registered native Florida voter and I'll be back home to keep Alan Grayson in my district.
As for Governor, Crist said he'll raise the minimum wage to $10.10 an hour, expand Medicaid, get Obamacare to the state, and work on education, so that automatically gets my vote.

Although, in the age of social media, it's a lot easier to find out someone's religion than it used to be. If they're fairly devout and active on Facebook and other sites like that, you could probably find some reference to their faith with a little bit of digging.

One small victory to report from NC- Federal judge rules that out of precinct voting rights are to be restored.
As did I. There is a genuine argument that she is not racist which I felt needed to be acknowledged.
