Natsume Yuujinchou

this episode was cute, not sure if it's canon or filler though. I don't remember ever reading it and the characterization felt a bit off.

Also it looks like next week we see Shonen!Natsume

Watched the very first episode today.

I really, really, REALLY, love it. It's just the type of anime that I love. I'm definitely watching all the seasons, all right.

Just saw the recent chapter turns out my translations were right so the manga is ahead by like 10-15 chapters but there are no trans. out for it.

Also the latest chapter should be in this season and is likely one of the biggest chapters for Nastume and one of the biggest TearJerkers yet. Nastume's parents are introduced via flashback and he visits his old abandoned home.

It was a side story in the manga.

The first opening is really nice.

All the Op's and endings are really nice and fit well to the show :)

The solo in it is just awe-inspiring especially the beginning, it fits so well in a song you wouldn't except to have a solo in, and the solo even matches the song and natsume's tone.

New episode is up! Nyanko sensei as Natsume was hilarious and it ended in a cliffhanger,I'm really interested to see the youkai named Omibashira and more of Tanuma in the next chapter.

Also I made a bunch of addition to the works page.

Heh, when I saw the episode preview last week this certainly wasn't what I was expecting, having Nyanko-sensei being the evil looking Natsume and all the comedy that resulted from it. Also wasn't expecting it to be a two parter so I can't wait for next week!

Oh my gosh, it's like every episode is the BEST. EPISODE. EVERRR~~~!

Nyanko-sensei was too funny! And Tanuma is getting to be so cool! It will be exciting with him being able to see youkai.

Now, when the heck is Natori going to show up?

There's a multi chapter arc that I'm really hoping gets animated (it's up for it anyway) which has Natori in it, can't imagine we'd go an entire season and the only shot of him was the poster on the girl from last week's wall. XD

Which one? Jog my memory, please.

Also I think Sensei tortured Natsume more in this episode than any youkai before him has.

So, anyone else think Growing Up Cullen during the Sasada scene?

She smells delicious. Like bacon.

I have no idea what that is...I just thought that was really weird for even Nyanko-sensei to say. For a second I thought he was suddenly developing a culinary interest in humans.

Nyanko's always had a culinary interest in humans (he's suggested that Natsume should let him eat Matoba on occasion) - Natsume just has a leash on him, so he sticks to booze.

Well Nyanko-sensei is a very powerful and proud Youkai, but thanks to Natsume he has mellowed down a lot in his view about humans.

YES! The hero Natori appears!

Oh wow, where to begin. The youkai designs were so original and funky, the artist must have had fun with this episode. Nyanko-sensei was my hero (and not for the first time) when he scared all the youkai away. There was so much great character development (especially for Tanuma) and for Natsume after Natori told him that he needs to keep his attatchments to people. And Natsume and Tanuma's interactions throughout were just so damn...fluffy! It's like they went through a non-romantic Relationship Upgrade.

This episode is great!! Natori helped Natsume seal that dangerous youkai named Omibashira and a lot of sweet moments between Natsume and Tanuma.

Wow. . This has to be one of my favorite episodes yet, also It's the first episode this season to remind me how much horror elements exist in this series and having a human pulled through the veil really helped drive that home.

The entire room splattered in blood was more horrific than the thing that wanted to eat Taki, and the other ayakashi that was eating the crow youkai and as bad as that Merry-san from the first season, I think.

The little dog/fox yokai pawing at the windows was horrible.

Fantastic Anti?Villain Episode

New Episode is up! Natsume is helping the servants of the sealed god Houdzuki win a festival or the entire mountain will be in peril and also Natori appears to either lift the seal on Houdzuki or seal the other god Fudzuki and in the end we got a cliffhanger. Great episode.
