Let's compromise and say magenta
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realThat's a fair assessment.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Episode 2!
I completely agree, I love spides, they're fluffy, and I would love to ride on a giant spide! But I would rather have a cat-sized spide to keep as a pet!
It's literally on your shirt, pick up the shirt and shake it outside.
There's no reason to kill it! It's on a bloody shirt! Throw it outside!
Kyouko best freaking girl just for being decent and rational.
There's nothing cute about hating spiders that much.
I want the muscle cake.
Himawari's boobs are always the problem.
"You're stupid but I don't hate that about you" agreed.
Ayano looks like a magical girl.
It's not a date at all. It's a spontaneous romantic encounter, date implies planning.
Japanese vending machines are the best and this particular anime has had multiple moments highlighting that fact.
Pancakes and cookies?
Akane is going to die.
Bears.
Nooo it's a waste not to eat it!
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. This episode was the tamest yet. Even Akane's siscon shenanigans felt toned down. And calling over a friend to get rid of a spider, I can relate as the family arthropod clearer and I can certainly imagine my brother calling me over to Paris to clear out a wasp, but it's just too mundane. I liked YRYR for zany comedy in seemingly normal situations with cute art; now it's more cute comedy with cute art (never cared much about the shipping). The basic problem is that there are plenty of other such shows about, while the earlier seasons had something unique. (The Snow White play is a masterstroke.) I wish they would recover some of that energy.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.
It's definitely a change of studios, and TYO's less known for its comedies and more for the fact that it had a hand in ARIA and Tamayura... And those aren't exactly manic madcap comedies.
Having the spider, Ayano, and Akane segments all linked together in some manner made Sakurako and Himawari's segment feel isolated. But at least they got an appearance - Chitose didn't :(
I still think the show is very great, and it all still feels like Yuru Yuri to me. Also much of it is from the manga. Though I don't remember that well to know what liberties they took with the gags I do remember some of the events.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.The second episode definitely continues with the more relaxed tone, with the gags (like Akari fainting in the first part and Akane's mad dash in the second) not quite having the "oomph" as people have come to expect. We did have some nice interactions between the girls during the pancake making though, as well as the bit with Ayano and TOSHINO KYOUKO.
Again, still funny, but just different. A relaxing kind of funny, ala Non Non Biyori, I'd say, than say Galaxy Angel.

This oh so much. The only Yuru Yuri was Rapid-Fire Comedy that was constantly slaming jokes, this is a slightly more comedic Iyashikei with a Yuri Twist.
Its more like Kiniro Mosaic now instead of say B Gata H Kei.
I honestly like the old style better but the Iyashikei style is alright.

ATTN: Himawari and Sakurako! JUST DO IT ALREADY!.
I love it when Kyouko tries to be cool. But that resolution was seriously heartwarming. Awww Chinatsu really does like Kyouko.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.For one thing, the director is changed—the first two seasons was directed by Masahiko Ohta (most recent work being Himouto); while this season is directed by Hiroyuki Hata (Saikin Imouto no Yousu ga Chotto Okashiinda ga).
Scientia et Libertas | Per Aspera ad Astra NovaI finally finished the second season last night. I'll start on the third season tonight and watch the OV As later on when I have time.
I'm still fucking pissed about the time travel episode.
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realIt was awesome. Kyouko is god.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.You know, in the old seasons Yui was a bit of the odd one out for being the straight man. Now Kyouko is the strangest due to having a wackier outlook (Akari and Chinatsu were made funny by the situations). And isn't it odd how big-boobs is always telling flat-chest that she's lazy when we see her do more work than the central four? And why did Sugiura just collapse from what must be a tiny fraction of the unwanted attention that she gets from Kyouko?
Chinatsu's sister managed to be genuinely adorable though. And that drawing was seriously disturbing.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years. Is it me or is Chitose completely out of focus in S3?
Real Life Writes Plot. For a while after the end of the second season, real life hit her hard — her agency closed down, she couldn't find work, etc.
We're not really sure if her situation's changed now, but she hasn't been doing ANY VA work since Yuru-Yuri.

Huh? Aki Toyosaki has done 15 roles this year including being Momo in To Love RU Darkness, hell she is doing 4 voices this season.
I was talking about drooling twin (Chizuru), not nosebleed twin (Chitose).
While Chitose hasn't been talking a lot, and is just hanging around Ayano, at least she still has voiced lines. Chizuru... hasn't.

Well I was talking about Chitose. We haven't gotten much from her at all, we didn't even get to see her delusion this ep despite her taking her glasses off.
Well it's only been three episodes.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Just caught up with S3 and the new studio is definitely turning down the madcap antics and turning up the Iyashikei and yuri. I don't mind the slower pace, although the lack of Akariiii~n opener is leaving a hole in my soul.
Ayano's date with Kyouko in Episode 2 was way too cute.
Sex-negative outrage culture and the Illuminati are realSakurako completely missing the point in emulating Ayano. Why am I not surprised?
Also the return of Chinatsu's nightmarish artwork... That said, from what Tomoko revealed, Chinatsu DOES have positive things to say about her other friends, it's just that Yui is front and center in her affections.
Ayano is purple or maybe red-violet. Not red. Otherwise good summary.
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.
