"You may not have a job to support them, but by god have babies anyway!"
Nice Europe. Better yet, open your work visas! I would gladly come over there with my kid and support your old people!
"Psssh. Even if you could catch a miracle on a picture any person would probably delete it to make space for more porn." - AszurI've seen that one a few days ago.
It made me quite depressed then, and it still makes me depressed now (as you can see in the Polandball thread, or the numerous comments on the Reddit page).
Also, 0/10 trolling attempt. Must try harder.
Try to take over the world! If that doesn't make Portugal important try it again!
Known Side Effects include crippling national guilt and the urge to gift Israel Submarines.
"You can reply to this Message!"Ok, we will of try into sea, trade and plunder again. We will become important once more!
After we pay debts, of course.
The EU is a dick to Google.
They do have medals for almost, and they're called silver!Given the way Google is siphoning funds through tax loopholes (just like all big companies, but IIRC Google is in the top five), I can't say I'm very sympathetic to their plight.
"And as long as a sack of shit is not a good thing to be, chivalry will never die."Still, it seems like they did something to really piss off the EU beurocrats, that or China just gave the EU a pile in exchange for this...that's my conspiracy theory and I'm sticking with it
I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom.Hoooooo boy.....

Just another day in the Balkans.
It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.Nothing to worry about then? Seems like a kick off of a third round to me but...
Eh, I wouldn't say there's nothing to worry about but such extremists come and go. A few months ago people were burning posts in the Kosovo-Serbia border almost every week.
That said, even a tiny sparke is enough to start a fire. Especially in these parts. We'll just have to wait and see how it goesnote .

It is sometimes an appropriate response to reality to go insane.I think any attempt to start a third round will be suppressed, hard, by the European community. I would hope so, at least.
Schild und Schwert der ParteiDepends on the dynamics that allowed for this I'd wager. If Kosovo was behind it as Macedonia seems to think, that can create complications because of how heavily involved Europe was in midwifing its independance. Their isssues with the organ trade already gave a black eye in terms of human rights...
If, on the other hand, this is entirely local or the work of Albania itself, I'd imagine Europe would come down like a house of bricks.
There's also the possibility that the Macedonian government is up to something, from what I've heard of Macedonia the goverment isn't exactly trustworthy.
“And the Bunny nails it!” ~ Gabrael “If the UN can get through a day without everyone strangling everyone else so can we.” ~ CyranBasically, this might be a distraction tactic, since the Macedonian government is involved in a deep corruption scandal, and want to avoid the transfer of power to the opposition in the next elections.
Shit...
I can see this ending very badly by way of careening out of control.
Let's not talk about the controversy surrounding 'Macedonia' 's name...
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.
I am embarrassed for all parties involved in that.
Schild und Schwert der ParteiThats actually what I was alluding to. If Skopje is relying on the Rally Around the Flag effect, it could pump up jingoistic nationalism to the point that they might try something stupid with Greece.
Unlikely. The EU would put a lot of pressure on Macedonia and ultimately lead to the accession/candidate status being removed, in case they ever tried something that stupid.

People who make a fuss out of the name of a locality might not be so sane...
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThis.
Nationalists are eurosceptic by nature and thus would use that as a badge of pride.
Not saying it'd definitely happen, but if Skopje is resorting to such tactics already, things aren't right at home.
No to mention that such a complication would give Golden Dawn a very dynamic boost right when they need it. Their trial(s) are to take place in a few weeks.
Shit, can you believe that this merry band, even with their entire upper echelon locked up, a murder charge pending against them and being pretty much accused of every crime under the fucking sun, they still have the support of about 6-7% of the voting body.
Peeps be crazy.
