How does the reason for writing it change whether or not it's fanfiction?
I guess if the poster's not a fan of the show, then it's technically not fiction made by a fan. Non-fanfiction, if you will.

Had another plot bunny: I wanna follow the trauma conga line that would really lead Starlight to being a crazy cult leader, starting with her special talent being for dark magic and all the trouble that causes her as a filly.
Going by his post in the actual pony thread, it seems that he's only just now starting to watch the series. I'm guessing most of his exposure is through fanart and other stuff of that nature.
Reaction Image RepositoryMy experience with MLP has been mostly with TV Tropes and the forum itself. I don't really care about fan stuff.
Nitpicking, I know, but I hardly get a chance to say "Sore wa chigau yo".

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. You just said that because it was Japanese Teeth who brought it up.
Chapter Three of The Crystal Ball is now drafted.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.What's the story in which Celestia decides she's sick of being immortal and tries to kill herself, but unfortunately she can't die, so she keeps trying?
Your momma's so dumb she thinks oral sex means talking dirty."Celestia's Big Day", I think
There is no beginning. There is no end. There is only... Hooty.I don't think I've heard of that one. I know about Aragon's "Today Is a Good Day to Die", in which Celestia realizes she's going to die soon, but she and Luna literally don't know what death is. So they make fools of themselves as they try learn more about death by, for example, crashing a funeral to interrogate the corpse. And then at the end, Celestia does spontaneously die, but she immediately wakes back up as a lich.

Oh, you'd like it. he keep trying to kill herself, but it doesn't work, but she keeps the injuries., though they're completely painless to her
Eventually, you've got this bloody mess stumbling around on shattered legs and her guts hanging out trying to fine "that one way that works."

My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.So, it's pretty clear since... well, I think chapter 2 at least that something is eating Twilight's brain, literally. That's not a imagination Rarity, darling, that's a goddamn brain parasite.
Afternoon At The Summit Chapter 3 "Baby Talk" and Chapter 4 "Discussion And Reassurance" are now live.

Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Favorite story lately: An Orderly Transfer Of Power
Sick and tired of Celestia's shit, Twilight decides it's time for a regime change, but first she insists on filing the proper forms requesting approval to perform a coup. The fact that the bureaucrats of Celestia's castle inform her that there are no such documents because most people wouldn't bother, doesn't deter her. Just because she is launching a rebellion doesn't mean she can't be neat about it. And then suddenly Celestia starts becoming very helpful in this endeavor.
The sequel to Petriculture did something similar. Twilight gets possessed by The Nightmare and is suddenly filled with an overwhelming desire to overthrow Celestia... so she organizes a formal debate where she can make her case that Celestia needs to step down and that she would be a better ruler.
Hi, everybody! Long time no see/have a meandering debate with! Thought I'd stop by and see how everyone is doing.
And I notice some people that weren't here when I last posted: hi.
