A little too late for that though.

Steve Rogers? I wonder if that's the same Steve Rogers who just recently outed himself as a HYDRA agent in the comics?
That said, I wonder how he'll react if he realizes how hypocritical Duterte's drug war is when the country Duterte's trying to cozy up to is the same country that's the source of raw materials used to make drugs—China.

Duterte: China! Please...please notice me!
Xi Jinping: ...<backs away slowly>

Disgusted, but not surprisedI'd call that ironic since it the Chinese meth trading is one of the things fueling the drug traffic in Philippines, but hey the man has to suck some serious balls if he wants to get some allies and some favor from China.
Inter arma enim silent legesIt's honestly kind of pathetic. This is supposed to be a "strongman"?
Disgusted, but not surprisedNo talk about how Duterte claims that he personally killed some drug dealers/users while still mayor of Davao?
Reuters Special Report on how China fuels the Phillipines' drug trade.
If anything the Reuters story is suggesting that the DEA is already backing away... the DEA that provides the actionable intel.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotIn other words, the Philippines are going to be getting so much meth. Like, all the meth China can ship over to them.

Disgusted, but not surprised"On this episode of China Uncensored..."
Duterte says he wants to "burn down the United Nations."
"Somehow the hated have to walk a tightrope, while those who hate do not."Don't know about that.

Survey shows that most Pinoys have a hard time trusting the Chinese/Russians for a variety of reasons.
Duterte has stated that he may bring back martial law if the drug situation becomes "virulent".
A strongman? Martial law? Somehow this seems familiar.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotFunny, I wondered if he was going to personally lead some squad or another.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWe are killing everyone who may or may not be associated with drugs
The drug related crime is dropping guys! The slaughter is working!
I will bring back martial law in case this drug thing gets out of control
It is really working or it is just a bogeyman to justify his authoritarian rule.
Inter arma enim silent legesIn the wake of the incoming illegal immigration sweep, Duterte says he won't intervene to help his fellow countrymen who became illegals.
Critics said he could have done something similar to waft the Mexicans did.
For the insignia of the Philippine New People's Army, what exactly is below the AK in their insignia here? An arrow or a spear?

Looks like a spear to me.
I'm thinking harpoon.
http://news.abs-cbn.com/news/05/19/17/duterte-america-will-collapse-one-day
Duterte makes a prophecy that America will collapse and lashes out at the State Department.
Reading that second link from , I'm concerned if Duterte starts causing problems with other countries like what Ferdinand Marcos did when he declared Martial Law.
Well who knows.
Anyway, he fired back at Chelsea after she condemned his rape comments via Twitter and fired back on whether she confronted her father about his affair with Monica back in the day.
Duterte is really sorry that the assassinations and EJK cases did kill civilians caught in the crossfire, including those who were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
He promised to investigate cases where the ones who are killed are alleged to be either bad guys or just civilians trying to have a normal life. But he insists on looking at the big picture.
