No. He's known to be open to the LGB Ts and the Muslims. Same with the indigenous.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Now that Hitler comparison is quite strange.
^^I have to say, I am really surprised.

He can be, simply put, being an idiot.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Berlin got mad at the Philippine ambassador after they heard what Duterte mentioned.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Seriously? Dunno whether to laugh or facepalm. <_<

I'm very proud, really, that we're the only country with a Department of Clarifications and Explanations. Everybody else sucks because they don't have one!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.Duterte said sorry for offending the Jewish community.
On the other hand, a Duterte supporter on FB exposed the two Filipino Reuters journalists "responsible" for bad reporting over it. This is a bad really idea since they'll start getting threats. It's so irresponsible of the person who did it.

"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Glad to see the Hitler Rants Parodies guys didn't disappoint...
Also, from "the other Chinese" (a.k.a.: the folks who made that nine-dash line claim before the Commies took over):
I wonder if the Hitler Rants folks had the prevalence of Pervitin use in the Nazi millitary in mind when they wrote that. Probably not.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotHuh, and here I thought the only combat drug used by Nazi Germany was D-IX... (*reads the article*) Oh wait, so D-IX already had methamphetamine in it... Never mind. Though it does make me wonder if the Chinese with Chopper Support have their own combat drug/s...
@Ominae: I wonder how that particular Duterte supporter will feel if his FB profile and personal info gets exposed... I believe karma will bite that guy in the a** sooner or later for his irresponsibility.

"Learn as if you will live forever, live as if you will die tomorrow."This is in already, but journalists (foreign mostly) are concerned about the identities of the journalists that were leaked online regarding the news that Duterte remarked about Hitler.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Not content with... everything before this, Duterte has told Obama to go to hell. And that China and Russia are totally willing to sell him gear.
I have disagreed with her a lot, but comparing her to republicans and propagandists of dictatorships is really low. - An idiotSomething tells me their enthusiasm is waning. You're not supposed to use purchases quite like this — it is uncouth and embarrassing. There are better ways to diplomatically blow raspberries at somebody. -_-
Wow, I don't even think Donald Trump has told another government leader to go to Hell.
Probably because Duterte is president already and Trump isn't.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHe's like a preview of a Trump White House. Though Trump at least doesn't have "Death Squad commander" on his resume to my knowledge...

Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects. He just might, yet. Give him time.
Trey Menefee's thoughts on the Philippine situation; collated in a JPG, sorry, because Twitter. The upshot is the scariest part: if Duterte really wants to go ahead with turning to China, China will want guarantees that he won't turn around again because he switched meds (or because he gets voted out of office). There aren't many ways to do that.
A turn to authoritarianism is one of them.

Charlie Stross's cheerful, optimistic predictions for 2017, part one of three.http://cebudailynews.inquirer.net/107318/journalism-is-not-a-crime
The National Union of Journalists of the Philippines making a statement on cyber bullying against two Reuters journalists responsible for publishing on Duterte's comment on Hitler.
"Exit muna si Polgas. Ang kailangan dito ay si Dobermaxx!"Would the Army really support Duerte? I mean they've trained with the US for years, their Military history dates to them fighting alongside us against the Japanese. Surely they wouldn't stand for Duerte turning the country into a dictatorship, and a Chinese puppet dictatorship at that. My god Beijing has pulled off it's first coup. They grow up so fast.
Edit: They'll ask for bases in Northern Luzon, something at least as large as Subac was, maybe bigger, a Chinese guy I saw on Quora suggested annexing the whole thing due to the number of ethnic Chinese people residing their. I can't tell how widespread these views are in China. It would give them a way to project around the first island chain. Taiwan would be rendered indefensible.

I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom. If he went full dictator the people would likely revolt, and the military would take their side or remain neutral. This isn't Turkey, there is a long history of democracy in the Philippines.
Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects.Their was a longer history in Turkey. And the Philippines basically voted to end Democracy the day they elected Duerte.
I Bring Doom, and a bit of gloom, but mostly gloom.
Does Duterte have a hidden racist streak (idiotic comment of his aside) in regards to specific minorities in the Philippines?
