On the other hand, a Duterte supporter on FB exposed the two Filipino Reuters journalists "responsible" for bad reporting over it. This is a bad really idea since they'll start getting threats. It's so irresponsible of the person who did it.

This is in already, but journalists (foreign mostly) are concerned about the identities of the journalists that were leaked online regarding the news that Duterte remarked about Hitler.

Something tells me their enthusiasm is waning.

There aren't many ways to do that.

Would the Army really support Duerte? I mean they've trained with the US for years,their Military history dates to them fighting alongside us against the Japanese. Surely they wouldn't stand for Duerte turning the country into a dictatorship, and a Chinese puppet dictatorship at that. My god Beijing has pulled off it's first coup. They grow up so fast.
Edit: They'll ask for bases in Northern Luzon, something at least as large as Subac was, maybe bigger, a Chinese guy I saw on Quora suggested annexing the whole thing due to the number of ethnic Chinese people residing their. I can't tell how widespread these views are in China. It would give them a way to project around the first island chain. Taiwan would be rendered indefensible.

If he went full dictator the people would likely revolt, and the military would take their side or remain neutral. This isn't Turkey, there is a long history of democracy in the Philippines.
