I've been thinking lately and you know what? I would make it so that the protagonist in Avatar is not the ex-militar but rather the scientist brother. I'm really curious to know how it would turn out with a Science Hero who would value the Na'vi from the get go. Oh, and also make the military a bit more realistic: No mechas, airstrike everything from afar and they would have to deal with burocracy because they are effectively invading a planet (Moon, whatever).
