I was already excited as all hell when I saw ZZ, Crossbone, Destiny, FMP, the Shin Mazingers, and Prince of Darkness in there, but

OH MY FUCKING GOD, IT'S MIGHT GAINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Literally the ONLY thing that could've made that trailer more hype-inducing was if they included the series-specific music during the "these are the shows we're using" segments.

So it turns out that SRWV is getting an English Asia release. How much does a PS 4 cost again?

Super Robot Wars V? Does this mean this is the long-awaited 5th game in the main series?

Last I remember, the last numbered entry was ''The 4th Super Robot Wars", which was kinda retconned by the F games.

Not really, If I remember correctly the trailer showed that the V stands for 'Voyage'

WHOOOOOOOT! I was already going to get a PS 4 for KOF XIV, Persona 4, and Nier 2, but assuming the PS 4 isn't region-locked, I've got something else to get for it. WHOOT!

Although I find it kind of amusing that an SRW game titled Voyage doesn't include a Macross entry.

Or even Ideon.

Fix Fic happens damn near all the time.

I know from personal experience that Ideon is in Alpha 3 and the universe only gets destroyed in the bad ending.

Also, including the Yamato is even weirder than Tekkaman, even if it is a spin-off I never heard of before.

Yes, but it still could have a The Ideon Explodes Existance Dies ending like in Alpha 3.

You know, Despite the fact that V seems to use alot of recycled sprites from Z3. The animation to me looks much better than Z3.

I was already hyped to this game. Now I see Gilliam aaaaaaaand we got a neat Calvina's "Revenger" remix

Then at the end there was a song and OMFG IT'S. HAKEN. BROWNING!!11111 I wasn't expecting that any soon... Gespenst Haken... <3

Eh, I don't need Fix Fic. All I need is most characters mock how stupid Cross Ange is.

That aside, I'm not interested with Super Robot Wars V at that much since several of the lineup were already in Z3, though most of the returning units do have new animations. And the only one new additional I'm interested is Might Gaine.

I am so glad for this thread and the hype I see within. I went to Game FA Qs to see what they were saying at most everyone was just grumpy about recycled sprites and backgrounds.

I mean I get why; it's a lot more noticeable now that everything is in HD, but come on, what's the point of them even having forums if people can never express joy in them?

Anyway, I have heard tell that Skull Heart, Steel Seven, Hathaway's Flash, Shin Mazinger ZERO and Eva Q will be units-only here. A shame in some cases, but I'm hoping that in Eva's case it means we won't have the baggage from Z3 that prevented us from getting the Wunder or Mark.06.

I would also like to point out that in the trailer, Unit-01 still had its left arm, and Shinji seemed relatively normal while piloting it. There's hope yet!

Also, that Awakened!EVA-01 made Zeruel explode with one fucking punch.
