What's your job?

@Joey: I've waited tables in the past, but right now I'm in retail.

I am currently a Security Guard. That is about as much as I can say and not get in trouble :P

Tom I went in 2000 have been a pfc-Permanent fucking civliian since 2005. I got my walking papers on my birthday. Best gift evar!

My time in the corps was pretty weird. I came in right as they were starting to change everything.

I'm officially employed in auto parts retail, but I'm actually doing several odd jobs due to not getting enough hours/pay at work. I'm primarily a graduate student and a martial arts instructor, which are the only two consistent lines of work I have. And yes, I consider education to be a form of work. Martial arts tutelage is mostly volunteer, so I typically don't see a profit unless I'm working at a seminar or teaching private lessons. I'm fighting for a graduate assistantship right now. We'll see how that turns out.

My odd jobs include lawn care, construction work, modelling, house-sitting, helping my car buddies with their sports cars, tutoring ESL students and whatever else comes my way.

After I get my MA, I'll probably seek law enforcement (FBI or local police) or military service with the Air Force, the Navy, the Army or the Marine Corps (in order of preference). There's also law school, journalism, and a story that I'm determined to publish. I'm technically already published, but that was a minor role in a scientific dissertation.

Systems engineer. Basically, being the IT/help desk guy. I also fix P Cs on my free time to get some extra cash, and refill inkjet and toner cartridges.

Student, and former peer review member. Currently unemployed, and have attempted to and failed to get employment.

Currently a student; working as an intern over the summer at a science lab in Bonn University, doing research into the P 2 Y 12 receptor which affects platelet aggregation, leading to thrombolytic clots and... you guessed it, a heart attack.
