Also it wasn't a given that those two join, since the other one given some focus in the OP on top of Black Lotus, Silver Crow and those two is shown among the kings.

But all the ones who join the Black Team are in a sequence together with Black Lotus at the end (Right before Silver Crow faces of against the mechanical dragon thingy).

Yes, but the second in that sequence breaks the pattern, which ruins it before it starts.

So the Red girl won't be joining them despite being in the final group shot? Because the sequence goes Cyan Pile>Red Girl>Lime Bell>Snow Black>Harayuki then fight scene with the dragon.

If I'm interpreting the other shots correctly, the red girl is probably the Red King.

Isn't she one of the few people who were under the Black King (before her fall)?

Gilphon is correct. That is the second Red King, Scarlet Rain. She's the focus of the second book in the series.

She never joins the Black Army?

I really feel the fighting is the weakest part of this series. They've given the main character a move that lets him win with one shot, so they always have to make sure he gets knocked down to almost no health first.

He only really gets into one important fight in book 2, and he uses a completely different way to win.

Though the goal there is more "don't let him escape".

@ Red Queen: So the girl at the end of the OP with the others is not her despite having the exact shade of red hair and having the exact same Token Mini-Moe look?

What part of anything that I said lead you to that interpretation?

The girl in that sequence is the red king and she won't be joining.

Oh sorry, it's just so odd because I assumed everybody else in that shot is probably going to become part of the group...

That girl in the the end shot probably isn't the Red King; nobody else looks that much like their avatar.

And just so we're on the same page: Aqua Current was probably part of Team Black before they split up.

Also, this episode made me notice that Cyan Pile is wearing a kendo mask.

That and the preview for the next chapter points to her being the red king.

The last scene with Aqua Current leads to Fridge Horror/Logic concerning the direct links (and a good reason why they do it with people they trist), can you screw with people memory by just being conected directly or maybe it is because of the brain burst program?

And I agree that Aqua Current was probably in team black.

I'm not sure what to feel about this series. It's cheesy, but it has some cool stuff in it. Some of the cool stuff could use some work though.

And great, loli fanservice episode. Do they really have to introduce a loli into the series?

I don't count her because she doesn't act like one. And I've met girls her age (presumably 15?) who are built like her.

I usually skip the OP since my shitty computer graphics can't handle 10-bit encodes that well. Unless the OP has music that I like, in which case Accel World's OP isn't.

Ugh so if she's the red king then there's not much hope for the show in getting better.

Wait, it wasn't immediately obvious from my Tempting Fate pothole that she was?

Due to Brain Burst restrictions, the oldest people who can use it would be in the first few years of high school. Having an elementary school kid shouldn't be surprising.
