I was really really tired on Friday and Saturday (it's Sunday here). Friday because I didn't go to sleep at all the previous night in another attempt to reset my body clock or something, Saturday because I still went to bed at 3 am Friday night and woke up at 6.30-7 am because the phone started ringing. And I had to be somewhere at around 7.30-8 am. I might've had naps both days. I'm not sure. Definetely laid down and thought about stuff and was surprised what the time was when I came back out to the kitchen.
I am still tired. I just cannot seem to get to sleep before 3 am. It's annoying because when I get a job, I will need to get up early and I just can not go to sleep early. I think my body's stuck at age 16 (apparently, from what I've read somewhere, at some time in puberty the body clock changes and you start to naturally go to sleep at 3 am or something.)
Also while I was looking at some stuff about teen body clocks, I found this:
That's very interesting. That must be why after staying up all night I actually feel better.

I was apparently more tired than I thought I was last night. I didn't stay up especially late (just past midnight), but when I woke up the sun was already setting again.
What time was it when you woke up? I can't really tell by your post cos I'm in Australia and it's summer. Or close enough to Summer. I don't even know what time the sun sets now either.

Not tired, but sleepy and dismotivated.

I'm having to learn to pay the priceSame thing here. I literally could not sleep, at all, last night because of the congested nose I have. I may have dropped off for an hour or so after my dad left for work, since I can't remember seeing my brother leave for work or whatever he was doing, and I was on a couch in the solarium so I would've seen him. Right now, while I'm kind of tired, it's not half falling asleep, waking up because I can't breath type of tired. Just a slight annoyance behind my eyes. I have a day & night cold and flu medicine now, so hopefully I'll be able to fall asleep on it.
Does anyone else listen to something while they're falling asleep? I know I used to put music on, but I stopped that when I figured it's too.. I can't think of the word. Loud? I don't know. Now I tend to listen to hypnosis stuff. The guy on a CD I have has a really bland sorta voice. I generally can't remember hearing the second track on it at all.
Sounds like the two weeks of vacation I just finished. Up at 7am-ish every morning to get the kids off to school, or run errands on the weekends, not going to bed until between midnight at 2am. Somehow, without me actually trying to, my body reset itself back to work-schedule (sleep between 9-10pm, alarm at 430am) the last day, so right now I only feel moderately sleepy instead of oh-my-god-I'm-going-to-close-my-eyes-and-die-now.
