There's already people whining about the Assist Mode, even though it's optional...
If Player Two!Cappy can grab enemies, that mode's going to be like a revival of Bottles' Revenge.
Nah, it just seems like a better version of the Co-star mode from Mario Galaxy...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Die.◊
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! So has anybody here played the Superstar Saga remake?
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I'm probably just going to wait 'till later on it. I've got FE Warriors and Odyssey coming out pretty soon and those are day one purchases for me.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Who likes musicals? Who likes commercials?
Who likes musical commercials?
Kate Higgins seems to be Pauline's singing voice as the MP 3 version of Jump Up, Superstar! has her name tagged to it.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."I have watched the NWC final where they fought that Odyssey boss. Damn, I already want to play this game!!

Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.EDGE magazine gives Mario Odyssey a 10/10 as the game's first review.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."Can't wait until someone calls it the Dark Souls of hat-themed platformers!
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."In anticipation for Odyssey, I will extensively play online Mario Maker levels, downloading the ones I like the most and creating a few on my own. On the note of downloading, it's extremely difficult to look for specific levels in the 3DS version. There's one by Scarlet that is part of the Discord series of levels, and I have tried day and night to get it within the Normal pool of levels. To no success.
I'm still wondering why they limited this version so much in comparison to the Wii U one. And why they haven't announced a Switch version yet.

135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300Pfft, I was calling it thatnote months ago!
I thought Henry Hatsworth and the Puzzling Adventure was universally agreed to be the Dark Souls of hat-themed platformers.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!10/10 from edge! But idk, not exactly a sale for me yet. Galaxy got a 10/10 too but I was really disappointed by it.
Aww...Galaxy was awesome.
So what if this game ends with Mario cap-turing the entire planet to defeat Bowser?
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Wouldn't be the first time it happened.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300Huh, I mentioned before that it'd be neat to hear Sunshine's acapella Mario theme sung by an actual acapella group, but apparently Nintendo already did such an arrangement merely a year after Sunshine's release.
A summary with no spoilers of EDGE's Odyssey review:
http://www.neogaf.com/forum/showthre...#post251760023
- There are 50-odd capture possibilites. ‘It pays close attention to the physics and handling of each of these new forms, making each one enjoyable to command’.
- The transformations ‘are not always essential, and in many cases Mario’s repertoire is enough to get by, though it’s often quicker or easier to make the switch. Sometimes you’ll bench Mario for the simple novelty of playing as something else’.
- ‘Even leaving Cappy out of the equation, our hero has been furnished with his most expansive moveset to date….it’s tempting to say Mario has never felt better in the palms.’
- Portable mode feels a little like a compromise compared to playing with Joy-Cons in separate hands, partly because it can be hard to make out distant targets on the smaller screen. The TV feels like Odyssey’s natural home.
- There are a clutch of stage-specific quests that offer more traditional, structured progression but generally you’re free to choose what you do next.
- ‘Not all activities are created equal but you’re never far from a brilliant new idea or a clever twist on an old one’
- Mario’s finest ever selection of boss fights.
The party continues in the postgame too’ but no explicit details. There’s some kind of spoilery stuff about references to earlier games I won’t post here.
- ‘There is a lot of BOTW in SMO, from the chance to scout out potential destinations from high above ground, to the way the soundtrack often lets you acclimatise to your surroundings in relative quiet before the stage’s theme announces itself. But it’s most obvious in the way its environments appeal to your natural curiosity, sights and sounds teasing you away from your present path – and in its sheer volume of diversions.
- ‘Link may have more Korok seeds to find than Mario has moons, but not by many.’
- ‘Odyssey feels like a true reinvention of the sandbox platformer’
- ‘by giving you a broader number of ways to collect moons, it’s a game that’s more considerate of every type of player’
- ‘Peach, for her part, is no damsel in distress and her role expands in the post-game, although not in the way you might expect’.

"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."That last one reads like a spoiler to me.
Also i hope it doesn't have BOTW syndrome where you leave for a few months, come back, and it's Walking Around With No Direction And Dying A Lot Simulator.
("Playing BOTW is a metaphor for life. You see other people doing amazing things and breezing through the game and you can't beat anything tougher than basic enemies, getting 7 hearts does not make you any better at fighting, you lack the basic skills necessary to survive besides cooking and eating, and eventually it just stops being fun because you're fooling yourself into thinking you'll make progress when there are some things you just don't have the skills to do.')

Here's an English version of the Super Mario Odyssey trailer from the last page:
Was that Bowser attempting to Capture Mario?
"Pardon me, that extremely loud and extremely deep voice you may have just heard. It was me. Oh, it is such a long story..."
