IIRC, they were called Bloobers before Paper Mario. There was that Deep Bloober Sea map as late as Mario Party 3.
So Super Mario Run requires an internet connection to play.
I fail to understand why people are so pissed, this is pretty common for mobile games.
Yeah. Literally every mobile game I've ever played requires me to connect to the Internet before I can do literally anything. No big deal.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I guess it's because people want to play it on the subway or a plane.
I'd love to see Flurries and Panser again somedays. Those creatures were incredibly cute.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300One thing I really will have to give credit to Color Splash for- Making the principle enemies Shy Guys and Snifits was a good move.
I sure said that!Shy Guys are always incredible.
Bandits too...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.Making games on a MOBILE phone require internet is just stupid, I don't care if it is the industry standard.
For those of you reminiscing about old enemies: don't forget Eeries! Those ghostly Octoombas from Super Mario Galaxy 2 should've been Eeries instead.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Ah, another thing Color Splash did right- There were Dino-Rhinos! They ended up hybridized with Dino-Torches but I think that's just fine.
I sure said that!Peepas are the new Eeries now...
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I think Color Splash is a much better game than most people are willing to admit. It's much better than Super Paper Mario, at least.
But, yes, seeing Dino Rhinos again made me deliriously happy. I hope to see them in the next big 3D Mario game, too.
I totally forgot about Peepas. They're pretty neato enemies too.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?To be fair, Color Splash is, mechanically, basically Sticker Star done right- The problem being that that's not obvious unless you've handled both games, and if you've only played Sticker Star I can see how Color Splash wouldn't be appealing.
I sure said that!Well, I skipped Sticker Star, so, to me, Super Paper Mario is still "the bad one." I think Color Splash is about as good as the original (maybe not quite as good because the combat system is so damn cumbersome).
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?I'm never touching CS because its battle system looks like a worse Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories, and that game's battle system already sucks.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?I've never played that, but you'll be missing out on a lot of great stuff if you skip Color Splash. The graphics, setting, dialogue, and humor more than make up for the clunky combat.
Is that a Wocket in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me?Good story or not, I couldn't get through Super Paper Mario because of the clunky gameplay. I don't see Color Splash being any different.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Do the story and characters make up for the you-never-level-up-making-any-fight-completely-pointless gameplay? Because I could have forgiven Sticker Star's gameplay if the story and characters were interesting. But they weren't. The only character I can think of that was in the game at all was that wiggler.

What does Color Splash do with Luigi? It bugged me in SS that he was relegated to background cameos.
All I know about Luigi in Color Splash is that he has more dialogue than he did in Sticker Star.
"Thanks for the lesson. But I don't need you to tell me who I am."He drives you across Rainbow Road to Bowser's castle at the end of the game.
You do get rewarded with enhanced paint reserves by picking up hammer icons dropped by enemies. There's like, proper rewards for fighting instead of breaking even on coins alone.
It helps that the game just spews cards at you.
I sure said that!
I believe Flame Chomps were introduced as Fire Chomps but were quietly renamed at some point- "Flame" sounds closer to "Chain," after all.
They've been in Smash 4 and PAD SMBE, for whatever it's worth.
I sure said that!
