I got Supr Mario 3D Land And I have to say its A awesome game. Though I did need to get used to the controls. (sort of like New super Mario bros controls on a 3d Mario game.) and the graphics are awesome. so yeah this was a good 40 bucks I spent.(there was a coin room in 2-2 that had the coins spell out 3D :D)

Got my Game Informer issue tonight, they gave Super Mario 3D Land a 9.5.
I actually tried it in 3D Land. It's rather easy to pull off, just knock the shell into a wall, jump on it, wait until you bounced on it 5 times, and just leave the game running. You don't even have to touch the handheld.
So far, I'm in the 800 range with 1ups. I'm gonna see if there's a 1up cap. >:D
EDIT: So, you CAN go beyond the 1000 mark, they just put a crown in your counter. You get an applause sound effect and everything.
To recap, the game basically rewards you for going out of your way to find this sort of trick.
