It is very clearly Yoshi's house.◊
Also, there are attempts to differentiate Kamek from generic Magikoopas by making his hat brim white instead of blue, but it's not consistent, sometimes generic Magikoopas have it too.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Yeah, that doesn't help picture-wise. Dang. I meant a picture of his face to determine which color was the original Yoshi. It's barely implied because you can see Green Yoshi first.
Well, it's clear now regardless. My question is answered. Twas more disappointing than I hoped. XD
And yeah, that's sad that they can't separate Kamek from the Magikoopas that well. Hell, not even Smash 4 does a good job. The Magikoopas in Smash Run look identical to Kamek and they all use lots of magical spells. Kamek's only notable thing is that he can transform stuff, something other Magikoopas haven't been shown to be able to(Kammy aside). Speaking of her, what games does she and Kamek appear in together? I remember Kammy being a Paper Mario-based character, but... I forget if she had other appearances.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.Yoshi introduces himself when you first meet him, and yes, he's green. So that settles it.
Also, Kamek and Kammy never appeared together, at least to my knowledge.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."What Kamek needs is a bitchin' gigantic goofy hat to make him unique. Preferably with a Fluzzard feather in it.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.Yoshis Island DS seems to imply that there's one particular green Yoshi that's special in its ending.
I've always assumed that the Yoshi found in blocks in SMW is the same one every time. The other colored Yoshis aren't seen until the ending or Star World (which is optional). But like I said, that's just an assumption.
Weird in a Can (updated M-F)Green Yoshi is always the same one...its the special one that you can always tell.
He even has his own name, T.Yoshisaurus, have no idea what the "T" stands for.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie. It's actually T. Yoshisaur Munchakoopas.
Which is awesome.

"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."You can tell that he's important, the only other Yoshi to get his own name is Boshi.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I've always assumed the past Green Yoshi from SMW 2 and Yoshi's Story is also the main Yoshi (that being how they met), but I've heard people argue against that sometimes.
"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I think that is pretty much canon (inasmuch as Mario has canon).
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Yoshi Story is a separate thing...they're all kids in that game.
YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.I always assumed that the green Yoshi from Yoshi's Island and the green Yoshi from the main Mario series (And all the spinoffs) were two different Yoshis. I dunno how long they live, but if they were the same one then it's gotta be really old since it was already an adult when Mario was a baby.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Perhaps they age more slowly than humans, perhaps Yoshi is actually old but you can't tell because Yoshis don't show their age, perhaps Yoshi was actually a young teenager during Yoshi's Island. We don't know neither Yoshi's nor Mario's age, so I don't see why he can't be the same Yoshi.
Besides, Yoshi and Mario are known to share a very strong bond, and it's most likely because of the events in Yoshi's Island.
Perhaps Yoshi is actually a surrogate father figure to Mario.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."Oh, I'm not denying it as possible. I just believe otherwise myself.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! That's actually part of what I find annoying. There is no Mario canon, yet there are direct sequels. Apparently there is... sometimes. Super Mario Galaxy 2 ironically isn't one, but the Paper Marios definitely have their own canon(in order of the game releases). Mario & Luigi is weird, as I can't remember if any game connects to another in the series directly.
Also, at least Super Mario Kart and Mario Kart 64 are slightly connected(never mind past courses among titles) due to DK Jr. apparently turning into the current Donkey Kong. It does help that Cranky outright implies he's the original classic DK in the same-named game.
Miyamoto is weird sometimes.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol. There's actually one moment in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga that actually connects to all the games. When Mario and Luigi are in Woohoo Hooniversity, they enter a room filled with different ? Blocks and whacking each of them describes there different appearances throughout the series. It includes the ones from Paper Mario, Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario World. etc.

Makes sense. They all happen after all, according to how Miyamoto views the series.
Although what I meant by canon is their storyline specifically adding up to have a particular order.
Every game happens, which is why the term "non-canon" is impossible to apply. Except Hotel Mario at best. All the rest of the games happen. Some because of a storyline order, others because of them acting in a role.
What I find ironic is that Miyamoto's statement on this makes it more confusing than the Zelda storylines. If only because those can easily be determined due to the huge amount of natural story and references to earlier games. Not counting crossover elements, that is.(I can believe Link and Mario met. I mean, Super Mario RPG shows Link and him meeting. And then the huge amount of Mario references, including some very direct ones in Link's Awakening, which is a dream of Link... so how can he dream about Mario stuff if he never met him? Yeah...)
Although I think the fact that Mario Kart just added Link to its roster, it's probably more clear that one specific Link met Mario, the one in LA. Which if I remember correctly was supposed to be the one in Zelda I and II. I think during the Raft sequences in each. I forget if they specifically said it was Zelda II or not, but it kind of works either way. I think that was the same Link, right? Cause LA's cutscenes remind me more of the Zelda II version of him.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.The Link in Links Awakening was the one from A Link To The Past and the Oracles series.
Oh, that was just a reasonable fan theory, then. I take it that's what Hyrule Historia revealed, right?
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.Yup, that's what the Hyrule Historia revealed. Seems like that particular Link was especially busy, compared to his more popular Oo T/MM ancestor.
It's Link. Who isn't he busy with? I mean, almost all of his in-game partner characters are female... >_>
Joking aside, I hope to see more Zelda references in Mario games. I wouldn't mind seeing more romhacks that does this either. Or a Zelda Classic game using Mario characters. I just love what the fans can come up with. There's a Waluigi version of OOT that got made.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol. This talk of Super Mario x Legend of Zelda reminded me of this. 'Tis a conspiracy, I tells ya.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."
I totally forgot about that note. Does it show a picture of his face? Otherwise, it's not as clear(in that game anyway) which was the person who lived there. Either way, we know who it is now. You could just say it was retcon'd in to which Yoshi is in every game no matter what SMW suggests. XD
I totally agree with Kamek being made more different. Kammy is done greatly in that regard.
...It's weird having so many websites and no way to properly display now, lol.
