Forgot I don't have an interest in Island Tour either.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I wonder if they'll release Super Mario All Stars on the eshop? I'd like to see both it and DKCR get a NA release that way.
Rumor: decision to delay Star Fox Zero to come on Friday.
"We're all paper, we're all scissors, we're all fightin' with our mirrors, scared we'll never find somebody to love."On one hand, I don't like the source. On the other hand, it's getting delayed. Won't do the game much good, but whatever makes Miyamoto feel better I guess.
This could give me time to buy Fire Emblem Fates...
Or, more accurately, more time to find it and possibly get more moneys to buy it.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!First, I guess Star Fox was in better shape than I thought. Second, can we all agree to just ignore Tamaki from now on? Unless more credible sources back him up, he knows nothing.
Suprised no one else is talking about this, but Super Meat Boy is FINALLY hitting a Nintendo console, the Wii U in a few months.

They're only 4 years late though.
It's not Ogre, It's Never Ogre.Better late than never.
That's great news I always wanted to play it.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureAnyone heard of this game? Because I just now learned of it through GoNintendo and it looks amazing. It's coming to the Wii U at the end of this month.
Yeah, it seems pretty cool.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I've got it on Steam as Finding Teddy 2. It's pretty fun, harder than it looks, and you have to learn a fantasy language(not just an English substitution cipher) to progress. At some point I'll go back and give the final boss another go.
It's the exact aesthetic I dislike. After a hundred indie games all using the "look how retro our pixel art is!" style, I'm bored of it.
Huh, I thought it was odd I couldn't find it on Steam. Wonder why it got a name change for console ports.
I like pixel art as long as it has effort put into it. I'm not crazy about how some games without a competent art designer default to it because it's considered "retro", which (in some minds) excuses the game's ugly art. I feel like even Undertale (which I love) has this problem to some extent, though at least the creator is honest about it.
In some cases (like Shovel Knight), the games are originally supposed to be Retraux.
You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!I like Shovel Knight's pixel art, aside from King Knight's puke green castle. They clearly put a lot of effort into it, for the most part.
Wait, I guess his castle is gold. Damned colorblindness... Still looks ugly to me, but I guess it's thematically appropriate.

I'm pretty cool with it so long as effort is put into it. Pixel art can be absolutely beautiful, after all.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! It's not even his castle
Shantae and the Pirate's Curse is also a beautiful looking game.
It's like how really good 2D Animation can look even more beautiful than CGI animation at times.

You know, I have to wonder why Pit is obsessed with this site. It’s gonna ruin his life!Pixel art can be a crutch for the lazy, but done well, there's nothing quite like it.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectI don't dislike all pixel art. Just this specific style. The faux-8-bit look, where nothing has outlines, even though there's way too many pixels on screen and frames in animation to make it really look like it. When it first became popular, I think it was done with good intentions, wanting to make games that did harken back to the 8-bit era, and working within the limitations of the studio. But now, I really do believe it's just lazy. It's basically a shorthand way to say "this is an indie game that plays like pretty much every other game that looks like it."
Compare to something like Shovel Knight, which takes just as many cues from the SNES era as it does the NES, and actually plays like something from back then. Or Guacamelee, which sets itself apart in the genre by using sprites that look more like geometric paper cutouts than anything.
At least that one dungeoneering multiplayer game looks like Atari style rather than NES.
Pixel art is a loaded design choice nowdays: even if you lovingly craft it with the smoothest animation work possible, it can still be accused of being "hipster pixel art indie trash"
And then there are times when they do use pixel art and retraux as an excuse to not put more than 2 frames of animation in all character motions.
But I do agree that pixel art has become the "go-to art style" for a lot of indie games. Which kind of causes an over saturation for the visual style.
Cool, thanks!
*deep breath*
Can't decide what I can go for firsst, except Mario Party Island Tour which I already have. NES Remix, I guess.
My DA account... I draw stuff sometimes!
