I was wondering what that game was when i caught a glimpse of it while watching the sony conference.

This honestly might be a Killer App for me. Vita is now officially > the 3DS.

The footage reminds me of the Dungeons and Dragons beat-em-up games Capcom made for the arcades in the Nineties.

As someone who has been following Vanillaware since Odin Sphere, this is really not a surprise.

EDIT: I'd recognize that distinctive Basiscape style of music from anywhere.

Its a modern day co op spiritual successor to the D&D Arcade game made by Vanillaware.

How can I NOT want this?! It could be made in stick figures and I'd get it!

The game title sounds like a major allusion to two things: Levanthan and Valentine's crown, and meany Wagner

Wow that gameplay looks pretty slick and BOOBS. Sorry. As i was saying the combos and BOOBS. Excuse me. There also seems to be a heavy multiplayer element which is good because ASS.

And the wizard is apparently Sephiroth.

From the people who gave us the Vagina Spider I am not surprised at how titastic this is.

The double-sided tape the sorceress is working with must have high-quality adhesive.

Actually, I kind of liked Odette's design. The combination of sex and undead was deeply, deeply creepy, which was kind of the point. I thought it worked rather well. ^^b

But either way, yeah, Vanillaware's ladies tend to be rather boobtastic. Just... Not usually to the Sorceress's level. I mean, two out of three female player characters in Odin Sphere were downright flat-chested (not that some of the other characters didn't make up for it, but still).

Yeah Vanillaware's never shied away from Fanservice, but it's certainly through the roof here. The three chicks are even nice and varied, what with the sorceress of titanic tits, the Hot Amazon and the demure-looking elf.

At least the wizard's there for the ladies so things aren't totally one sided. Still mostly one sided.

This IS the company that gave us Raijin. Remember.

The dwarf or fighter might appeal to women who enjoy huge hulking men maybe?

I haven't met any of those types of women on the video game internet cubbyhole. Actually, i've met more men that are into big husky men then i've met women into big husky men. So i guess that's another demographic they have covered.

The bit about the sleeping dragon, and the very last line of the first article, are especially interesting.

So it really is based heavily around the D&D arcade game. Ignition's winning lots of respect from me for signing on to this thing without hesitation.

Boobs Of Steel/Most Common Superpower & Amazonian Beauty/Hot Amazon are EXTREMELY well represented here.

Did a search for the game on a few art sites. Got over 600 results. Most of them are the Amazon or the Sorceress (occasionally the Elf). They've surprisingly managed to make them smaller than the official art, most of the time at least. I think I saw a picture or two of the Fighter/Knight. Clearly the growing fanbase is excited.

So....how will this work? I can't imagine it being a mainly single player game (despite wanting it to be one). Are there any details on that subject?

Nothing yet, but it definitely looks like a multiplayer romp in the vein of Gauntlet or Dungeons And Dragons.
