I doubt they'd tread on Morrison's corns like that.
I have some reservations about the reboot. Mostly Barbara becoming Batgirl again, and Superman dating Wonderwoman.
Superman dating Wonder Woman could work. It depends on what Wonder Woman is like in the new continuity.
Currently taking a break from the site. See my user page for more information.GUYS, seriously, Barbara is not becoming Batgirl and Superman and Wonder Woman are not hooking up. They are 100%, grade A farm fresh RUMORS. THAT IS ALL. The only things we absolutely know are 11 of the titles being launched.
Check out this letter, it explains that the reboot is more about their storytelling style than actual continuity. "We have taken great care in maintaining continuity where most important." I'm still weary about this event, but I'm definitely giving them the benefit of the doubt. I'm willing to bet the larger/newer continuities (Batman, GL, Flash, Superman, Zatanna, Aquaman) are staying basically the same, and the revamped ones are just lesser characters whose stories and origins aren't easily accessible.

Rawr! This is coming from the same people whose respect for continuity goes out the door any time there's a chance to shit on Kyle Rayner to make Hal Jordan look good. Its not worth the paper its printed on.
Home of CBR Rumbles-in-Exile: rumbles.fr.yuku.comKyle Rayner's in a great position, I have no idea what you're talking about.
Wally West and Cassandra Cain, not so much, so hopefully this revamp gives them a solid place in the DCU again.
Hell, DC just announced that Kyle's headlining his own book!

^ Which is why it's better to call this a revamp than a reboot.
Rawr!Wait, Jaimie's alive? AWESOME. Sorry for my moment of derpness back there >.>.
I'm thinking I may have to drop Green Lantern Corps from my pickin's, now. I mostly read it for Kyle, and with him leading a much more interesting-sounding book, and with the Red Lantern series starting, I don't think I can justify buying 4 Lantern books a month.
I wouldn't mind a revamp of Justice Society. (It's been struggling since Johns left the title.)
Mark Waid would have been my first pick for Justice League, but Johns writing the League sounds kind of awesome. Johns is fairly good at writing large groups of characters, and I like his writing style.
Shadowpact coming back would be nice. Maybe retconning Cry for Justice and Identity Crisis out of existence. A Shining Knight ongoing starring Sir Justin. And while I'm dreaming, I'd like a pony.
I'm reserving judgment on the reboot/revamp as a whole for now. It could be either really good or really bad, depending on how it's handled.

"I hope they make Mary Marvel herself again, instead of the grimdark weirdo they've got running around. "
Grimdark version dissapeared few months after Final Crisis, when she got depowered.
I think we could use more Barbara Gordon Batgirl stories, as long as they are set before The Killing Joke and don't affect her current status as Oracle too much.
He who fights bronies should see to itthat he himself does not become a brony. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, Pinkie Pie gazes AlsoIf Damien were to get compromised by the reboot, what would that do to Batman Beyond? I was so happy when it was finally incorporated into the storyline, and it would suck to see it stop.
Do not be so quick to make foolish offers, Daemon. Araghast too once thought I would be an asset to his cause. Look what has become of him.How a re-powered, non-grimdark Mary Marvel? Heck, why not bring back the Marvel family and the New Gods while they're at it?
According to Didio, the New Gods will never appear again. I don't expect this to last much longer than his tenure there, though.
I just found out that Peter Milligan is writing the new Red Lanterns series. I am definitely going to be checking that out.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."Peter Milligan
Who?
When did Didio say this? And is he serious?
Peter Milligan wrote Shade the Changing Man and is the current writer for Hellblazer. I like him quite a bit.
"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."Oh. I've never read Shade myself, but I've heard good things about it. Peter might be a good choice;)

I know this a total thread hop, but there is exactly one question that concerns me about the reboot:
Will there be a Jaime Reyes/Blue Beetle ongoing? My continued patronage towards DC rests entirely on this.
C'mon. Ted and Booster can be like his wacky not-godparents/mentors. He can occasionally pop in with the JLA to say hi and fight alien invasions. DC can actually work on fulfilling their pretty damn empty promise to bring more ethnic diversity in their post-reboot lineup* . It'll be fun.
Sir, I believe the words you are looking for are "obscure" and "ignored".
And "not Silver Age".
Rawr!
I like Damien...
