Uh, no. Ashkenazi is just the word for Jews of Germanic/Eastern European descent (as opposed to Sephardi Jews who are of Spanish/Portuguese descent and Mizrahi Jews who are of Middle Eastern descent). The vast majority of American Jews (most of whom like myself are fairly secular) are Ashkenazi.

I think you're probably thinking of Haredi Jews, who are a mix of Ashenazi and Sephardic- Haredi is a religious sect; Ashkenazi, Sephardi, and Mizrahi are ethnic groups.

The cowardice stereotype is associate with Eastern European Jews, and is probably a combination of a couple of things- Jews were seen as weak/not resisting in face of oppression from Tzarist Russian and later Nazi Germany. More benignly (at least generally), there's a stereotype of Jewish and Nerdy and nerdiness is usually associated with physical weakness.

@Aszur- That's a weird understanding of the "Twelve Tribes of Israel". Yeah, supposedly Jews are descended from them (well, I guess only two of them since 10 of the 12 were "lost"). However, even if it is true, you're still looking at people descended from within a "tribe"; not necessarily everyone descended from one or two guys. Besides that, even though Jews have until recently married within the religion, between Biblical times and the Middle Ages, there's definitely a fair amount of intermarriage going on.

Jews are somewhat "inbred" (they're among the populations that have a high instance of the disease Tay-Sachs); however, endogamy =! Brother–Sister Incest.

Blood related cousins is still incest by definition, no? Of course this is assuming that throughout history, all jews have exclusively married with their cousins. Which is a ridiculous thought and impossible notion, but by concept, the "Marry only between the descendants of your cousins" is rather incest- to me.

A chapter of the KKK has been seen distributing fliers threatening "lethal force" against Ferguson protesters last week. Anonymous decided to respond by trading threats with them, at one point proceeding to dox several alleged members of the Klan, then they hacked their Twitter account and took over it, posting various messages afterwards.

Well, yeah, but the Klan are white supremacists. Judging people on their appearance is their raison d'être. If you're not even willing to show off the glory of your purebred Anglo-Saxon form when you're lighting a cross on someone's lawn, what's the point?

They need to keep dying their slow death. But honestly, the KKK is the least of the white supremacists that are of concern. There are much more active and dangerous groups out there like the White Revolution. The Aryan Brotherhood doesn't have a large US presence outside of our prison system (they're wicked strong in there) but they're pretty influential out there in the international community.

Still the "Anonymous vs Anonymous" thing is kinda funny to me.

So wait, that is how that one KKK thing that "accepts" other skin colored people works out? They accept them as long as they enter fully uh..."knowing" that they are inferior and whatnot?

And given how huge and entrenched the American prison-industrial complex is (almost 1% of the U.S. population are behind bars), having so many prisons be effectively run by neo-Nazis is a pretty terrifying thing. I mean, it's not like ex-cons forget all they've learned when they come out.

All that the KKK "opening up to minorities" means is that it will join arms with people like the Nation of Islam and they'll feed each other's pathetic fantasies. People are forgetting that white supremacists also tend to be white nationalists. White and black nationalism are not mutually exclusive, and both white and black nationalists have a history of working together to promote each other. Indeed, the fellow in the video is a former Grand Dragon of the KKK, who called Louis Farrakhan and the NOI "the black counterpart to us" at a NOI rally. C*nts of a feather flock together.

White and black nationalists also have a convenient common enemy - TEH JOOZ!

Prison is more gang violence than anything. If you don't pick a side, you're screwed. MS-13, Aryan Brotherhood, Black Guerrilla Family, NETA, La Nuestra Familia, Texas Syndicate, DMI, Nazi Low Riders, jeebuz it goes on and on...

But most of these are divided by racial or cultural lines, so you have to stick with your color most of the time if you want to survive.

EDIT: Mousa, actually, depending who you are you are very much aware. Unless you see it, you're not really going to know about it. But those who live in poverty or are involved with Law Enforcement are very aware of the gangs. Again, more overt displays are done in prison where people don't see it. That doesn't mean you can't find it in your area.

This isn't like the 20s where Capone was easily accessible. But every beat cop can tell you the territory lines.

Personally, I think focusing on white-supremacy groups is a little distracting. Obviously they're pieces of shit who deserved everything coming to them, but still. Sometimes I think the only way to get any attention about racism is to burn a cross.

Nah, some of them are nasty but it's the Sovereign Citizen like people you gotta stamp out. Look at Bundy and that ranch fiasco.

Luckily those groups tend to intersect so we could knock out two domestic terrorist birds with one stone.
