On a medium like the Internet, you never know what's meant to be funny. I would count involving a cartoon character as evidence of such intents.
To a lesser extent, that has a bit of narm due to the kid's facial expression.
Anyway, here is something of Lion King 2's Zira growling at Kovu. She looks like she's ready to seriously hurt him. Later in the movie, she does.

That's not bad, but I dunno if there's enough context to completely sell the parental aspect. I don't find the kid's face in the RL pic narmy at all.
I'm honestly flabbergasted at the reaction to the Goofy Time pic, but c'est la vie.

No, "Goofy Time" makes it look absurd, as if it were some attempt at playing this for laughs, given that it involves a cartoon character. Let's keep looking.
