Well, Cygan was wondering why there wasn't one, so I made it. I guess we can talk about queer stuff. :3
(*LGBTQ+ Solidarity huggles*)
Oh, and if you're wondering, non-queer folks are welcome too.

Casually came out to my boss at work.
But on more sour note, unfortunately I've started having more dysphoria about my appearance. When I still identified as non-binary, I was more content. I had a jaunty little mustache, and now that I shaved it off, I don't like how I look without it. It feels like the lack of facial hair makes it more visible that my hairline is pretty far up.
the statement above is falseI came out as genderfluid to my friends a week or so ago.
How did they take it?

Then grow it back! It isn't as though facial hair disqualifies you from Being Woman.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableIf it counts, I created an OC who's nonbinary.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned. And I have two anthro Vulpixes, the Faithful Foxes, who have ambiguous genders like Frisk. Therefore they could be a straight or a same-sex couple, who knows? Their genders are up to the viewer.
CAC: (Attempts to remove Twilight's bracer) To show I've changed, I'll free you!I couldn’t find a proper thread for posting about this so here goes: Gumroad is banning all NSFW art on it. In part to the purity wars fought by Mastercards/Paypal/etc.
So any LGBT+ creators you follow who have work there best get them because they’ll be gone by tomorrow.
Edit: Patreon has also updated its rules this week as well which has made it noticeable to people how unlikely of a coincidence this was.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Random musing.
I'm currently serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel, and one of the fairly prominent members of the cast is Alan Turing.
I'm not decided on his fate after WWII, but so far I'm thinking of having the MC - who by the end of the war becomes quite possibly one of the single most powerful admiral in the history - invite Turing to America, where he would spend the rest of his life working on and revolutionizing computer sciences.
While the MC is a very much cis-gender heterosexual man, happily married with 8 children, he is also all for diversity both in terms of races and sexuality, removing a lot of barriers starting from the US Navy.
Let's just say that there will be a lot more openly LGBTQ+ members in US military in my version of history.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.x2 Another update: Pixiv Fanbox revealed on its Twitter it will be removing Pay Pal as a means to pay for artwork due to its ban against NSFW creations.
People made note that it and Stripe were the main instigators of what happened with Gumroad and Patreon as well.
Edit: There’s now a link to this on the English side of Pixiv Fanbox, they’re switching to Wise as a replacement.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Ridley Jones was what gave me the idea to make my aforementioned OC nonbinary.
If you play with fire, you're gonna get burned.Bumped into a trans nurse who works at the same hospital I do, told her I was also going to transition, and we arranged to go for coffee on monday to talk about the brass tacks of the whole process. I've been putting off major steps, earlier I tried to get an appointment with a psychiatrist to get a referral but learned I need a referral to get the appointment, and just threw my hands in the air. Hopefully she has some better pointers how to get everything moving.
the statement above is falseThose studies that are at the very least being interpreted as "the majority of children who consider they are transgender at any point before their mid teens have grown out of it by the time they are in their twenties" have have come under my radar recently.
I was wondering if anyone here had any sort of take on them.
My impression about them is that they also prove that people who know that early exist (e.g. the "minority that doesn't grow out of it"), and my opinon on that is that if we are really worried about children and young teens thinking they are transgender when they are not, they should be provided with more information about how it's like from an inside perspective, not less.

My understanding is that they're flawed, and outdated (they counted any remotely GNC children, didn't keep track of all of them and in general had terrible methodology).
More recent and rigorous studies have found very low desistance rates (~4%).
TV Tropes's No. 1 bread themed lesbian. she/her, fae/faerBoth sides can accuse the other of biased data selection.
But also, I wonder how I would show up in those statistics, if I had brought up my feelings about the issue as a young person, and when the topic did arise later in my twenties in treatment for depression, and I quickly deflected because I panicked from someone looking at me and guessing. If I had died between then and now (from you know what-cide), on paper I'd just be a desister and proof that kids that have gender non-conforming behavior aren't actually trans.
And that's the thing. Whenever people cite number of detransitioners, they opften leave out that majority of them detransition because of they couldn't handle the public scrutiny they recieved after starting to present in a different gender. The left handedness chart is a meme, but I do think it is true. Just look at how more many people openly identify as bisexual now that gay relationships have become much more widely normalized, and the tide has changed so that if you're being homophobic, you're the weird one.
the statement above is falseI'm jealous of people that are around this level of open-mindedness, because in the internet, the majority of the people I see think homophobia is right and that not being homophobic is "unbelievably wrong" and they always assume everyone who respects LGBT+ people must be gay.

x2 Yeah the internet can be real nasty sometimes, I've actually considered leaving the bird app a couple times thanks to the stuff elongated muskrat has done to it like hardwiring the code to think that cis is a slur.
"FOR REAL?!?"For what it's worth, the sky color app can be joined without invite codes since sometime in February. Not everyone I follow on the bird app has moved there though, and part of me can't completely keep itself from looking at what both sides are actually saying because I'd rather do that than make too many assumptions.

I actually had made an account for blue sky in like november I think but same here, not many people I followed or am friends with on there had one so I stayed. I'm sure eventually he'll do something dumb enough to get everyone to leave though since a couple weeks ago it was revealed he removed the word pronoun from all the strings in the code for some reason.
"FOR REAL?!?"I'm worried about the Cass Report. It's a bullshit paper, but we know scientific rigor is not a priority when looking for excuses to limit the rights of a minority, as similar bullshit has been cited in decisions before, and there seems to be an almost global regressive turn.
the statement above is falseIs Grindr just that thing that every gay loves to hate? It always seems to bring out the worst in people...
Also, me. I save profile pics like Pinterest pins.
Grindr is pretty awful, but I think that just comes naturally from being at the intersection of hookup culture and internet anonymity.
What a bicon. I'd stan him.
