You might say he wanted to be an Edgemaster...
The sad, REAL American dichotomy...Nope, I can't beat that pun.
Was trying to think of an "ow the edge" joke but none of them beat Edgemaster.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I did! Once.
Nothing at E3
this place needs me hereSurprise!
Wait, what's the exact opposite of surprise? That.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Yeah, I wasn't expecting anything.
I did just see this for the first time, though.
Booo
Thought it would mention them dropping most of the roster for expies, but it didn't
Was waiting for him to realize Kilik or Xianghua or whoever his main was wasn't in it and explode
i care but i'm restless, i'm here but i'm really gone, i'm wrong and i'm sorry, babyFor a few games now Netherrealm Studios' games (Mortal Kombat & Injustice: Gods Among Us) have had these well put together story modes where you play as one character for a bit, get into a few fights, then move onto the next character, all while telling an engrossing story. Now Street Fighter V is doing the same thing, or at least is trying to, I don;t know how successful it is. I sincerely hope that the next SoulCalibur does something similar, because all this significant story stuff happens in the series' background that you never actually get to see. At least there was story stuff in the early games, for a while there the "plot" just ran in circles not doing anything. But I'd love a reboot that told the story of the SoulCalibur series the way it was meant to be told.
I don't know that it would work as well in SC as it does in MK. In MK, there was one story that each character had a sizeable part in, but the characters' own stories got more focus in Arcade Mode endings of varying degrees of canon and possibility. In SC, there's somewhat of a main story, but the characters are often on varying paths, around the world. So while MK may have one "novel" with different character "chapters", SC may need a collection of independent "comics" with different character "issues". In each of the games, MK is more Two Lines, No Waiting, SC is more Four Lines, All Waiting.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyThey're going to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Soulcalibur at Comic-Con.
Do you guys think they might announce a new game there, too?
Author.Soul Calibur Pachinko game :P
Mileena MadnessTo be honest, I'd be okay with it coming to America if it means we could get an Arcade in more parts.
I still hate the trailer, but the game, like any general Pachinko machine, oughta be fun.
Now they're officially celebrating the 20th anniversary of Soulcalibur. They said they have all sorts of surprises ahead. Would a new game be one of those surprises?
Author. And then it turns out to be an officially sanctioned erotic manga of the series' most legendary character... Nightmare.
Because of course.
Some of the reactions are priceless.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyThe correct answer is "tits", right?
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984So you guys think VI will be announced at Comic-Con?
Author. The less hope you have, the better this will go.
this place needs me hereWell, given that ending tagline above...
Peace. Pace. Sanity. Check out my DeviantArt! ^_^This is what we've been left with...
(fyi, @Soulcalibur is actually the name of the official Facebook page, not the twitter, which is @Hoshino_Calibur. The Facebook page is more active, but you can't post to it, so "spamming" would have to be relegated to the comments sections)

this place needs me hereTaki just beat Natsu in the poll. Glad they finally updated it.
Author. There was no way Taki was going to lose. Lets be honest: none of the new blood is going to be their predecessors.
The only thing left to do is find a bus big enough to toss them all under.
One Strip! One Strip!Good.
Still really fucking disappointed that Natsu was the only Soul series rep in X Zone 2.
Most of the new characters have the disadvantage of not getting much attention in the story while replacing popular characters.

FWIW, that's not why they renamed the series. There was a trademark troll who was squatting on the use of the word "edge" in video game titles until just a couple years ago.
