IIRC it's mainly there to draw enemy attention instead of attacking.
...ehehI've heard that the Destroyer in Expert Mod has additional boss scripts to go berserk if you engage it from a sufficiently high altitude.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! As a worm enemy, the Destroyer can't actually move without blocks so it only has a limited vertical range above ground.
I guess such a berserker script is meant to punish you in Expert Mode for trying to cheese the fight.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Unlike for the other bosses the wiki says nothing about new expert mode attack patterns.
Knock on wood, but that awful crash seems to be fixed. Working on building an airship in my new expert world.
Never played too much of Hardmode, what's the general flow of progression? I have mithril armor at the moment.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Progression in hardmode is a bit weird, as most of it was once the endgame before another update. Also, some levels can be skipped but some can't due to pick power and a lot of the armour diversifies into playstyles.
From the hardmode ores it's Cobalt/Palladium, Mythril/Orichalcum then Adamantite/Titanium (only one of each pair spawns in each world but if you want the other one you can fish for crates). Then you have Hallowed stuff from the mechanical boss drops, Chlorophyte from the hardmode jungle and Spectre from the dungeon (after you've beaten Plantera). You may want a Picksaw, which drops from Golem(found in the Lihzard Temple in the underground jungle), as it is the first pick that can break anything, but the current endgame is after the Lunar Event and the Moonlord, where there is Solar Flare, Vortex, Nebula and Stardust stuff.
Most things have both tools and armour but some tiers can be skipped. Notably, some levels have armours for different playstyles.
I'll just leave this here.

Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownOn the one hand, it's great they're getting more recognition. On the other hand, I bought the pc copy years ago and have completed it several times since, and thus could care less.
OO Oooooo, 3DS? I'm listening...
I have it for PC, but don't play anymore, most of my gaming time going to other things, but the ability to play at lunch at work intrigues me and I think it would work very well in small doses like that.
I have felled the Golem. About a dozen times now, I think. Spectre armor works really well with the Nimbus Rod and Rainbow Gun.
Unfortunately, the dude doesn't seem to want to give me a Picksaw.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...I find it hilarious how I never got one in the time that I played hardmode beforehand, but now I've gotten 3 Nazars in an hour. RNG WTF?

Famous last words of many a kerbal: MOAR BOOSTERS!!!3DS? Sounds good, I'd like to stuff it in my 2DS and bring it around with me (the only other device I'd use for portable Terraria is my Nexus 5).
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I think I will get it on Wii U. I have the PC version but my PC isn't that good so after a while I get massive frame-rate issues.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureAny idea how planter boxes work? Do they grow multiple seeds? Building the hyroponics deck on my airship and not sure if I should plant normal seeds, use pots, or these planter boxes.

Personally I'd like to make a greenhouse myself. One of my 'base camp' worlds would be perfect for this.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Oh yep, the Gender Change Potion. And yeah Fireblossom now blooms at sunset rather than in Lava, making farming them for ob skin pots easier I suppose.
...ehehProtip: Don't clentaminate an underground jungle into a mushroom biome when there's a Plantera bulb. Unless you really just want to fight an enraged Plantera.
Took me until a minute after getting killed to realize why I was getting wrecked so hard despite having better equipment.
This "faculty lot" you speak of sounds like a place of great power...I really need to get some more endgame gear.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Disregard this.

Famous last words of many a kerbal: MOAR BOOSTERS!!!I completely forgot I need to make a glowing mushroom farm for potions. Wondering if should allocate around room or if I should just build the biome for Truffle later.
Are there any other things I want to farm before I continue working on the airship? I have every kind of tree, daybloom, deathweed, waterleaf, moonglow, blinkroot, shiverthorn, and firebloom.
Just remembered pumpkins...
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984Random question, do different versions of Terraria save in the same format, as in, can you take an PC save and bring it to an equivalent version on mobile?
Famous last words of many a kerbal: MOAR BOOSTERS!!!I highly doubt it's compatible, since even if they're formatted the same way, theoretically-equivalent versions do have some differences in items and enemies.
Stardust Armor's guardian is weak for a Stand ._.
