I had a shit day and currently have a bad headache. No post today, I don't know about tomorrow.

Well, the time in Capital has finally advanced.

Work ate my time. No posting possible at the moment. Will update when it changes.

Posted in Frontier. Was busy this weekend with Guild Wars 2 and shopping for thanksgiving. Going to try and cook a turkey for the very first time for just me and my husband. Lol Hope it turns out well.

Head's up; Tomorrow to Friday, I'm heading to a cabin for Thanksgiving, and I may or may not have internet access so I'm not sure if I'll be able to post around that time.

Also Ryuhza, before I make this post, did Howell leave or is he still in Capital?

Hi guys! Yes, I am back. My motherboard melted, and the new laptop arrived today. I am officially yanking Anne, Lucky, and Lily from Frontier, as I've been gone for forever, but just wanted to let you know I am still sucking wind.

Glad to hear you're safe and the reason for your sudden disappearance was the the demise of merely a replaceable computer rather than anything more serious.

Had to have sucked having your machine melt down, though, glad you've got yourself back online.

I'm still considering all the details, but you can safely assume that he's not in the hotel room.

@wolf I've posted in Frontier again. I'm kind of combining my original idea of there being a mystery of why the fort is there with what you added in.

I'll wait for TroPartner and Blackfire667 to put in their characters' actions before posting for Sophia, Kaitlyn, Gwion and Finn.

Hope to work on a post for the "Terra Novans" tonight - worked longer hours at work than usual today so I don't have to do any Work From Home hours tonight. Frees up my evening, somewhat.

Sounds like Capitol's winding down. Are we going to make another character thread after in addition to Frontier? Because I really want to get back into this, not quite as frequently as I used to, but something.

Maybe not for the next week or so though, work schedule is doing its best to cripple me.

I've been wondering about a new thread myself, but so far folks don't really seem that enthusiastic about it.

The primary objection seems to be that we couldn't sustain it. But Frontier's not exactly high-energy right now, and Capital's basically already over - the remaining people are just trying to resolve their plots instead of letting them die like we have in the past.

I'll be very open to having two threads by mid-December. I'll have break, and my next semester is going to carry a much, much lighter workload.

But right now, I'm bracing for finals.

I deliberately didn't take Gwion out of Capital City in case you were able to come back and have Ulf come to in hospital.

The mountain resort kinda just fizzled out leaving Teri, Kris and Wolfe chatting with Katya in the bar and Gwion landing on his arse out in the snow.

There was a vote as to whether people wanted a new new thread or a new thread based on an older premise - a "reboot" of sorts. The results so far seem marginally biased towards revisiting an old thread with no votes for "new", one for "old" and the rest being fine with either.

I'm interested in seeing what comes up in the way of a replacement for Capital. As things stand, if Capital were to close right now, Gwion, the team from Black Knight Security and the six "Terra Novans" are all in situations that need no resolution.

... oh wow, Dream and Express are tied, wasn't expecting that. Since we're probably going to have people against rehashing the city environment from the original Dream, what if we made the train the shared dream environment?

I was thinking about who I'd bring for Dream 2, and decided I'd have to bring Vince and his greenhouse at the very least. A greenhouse railway car, with Vince's fruit trees and spices bobbing around would be kind of amusing.

Also, I realize that I probably don't need to warn you guys about this because some of you have taken longer gaps between posts, but I'm going to say so anyways so that I don't feel tempted to go back on my word. I'm not going to post here at all until tomorrow, at best, and I may only have time to post once more between Thursday and next Monday. I have another job interview next Wednesday and lot of work due next week because the professor for two of my classes is cutting the semester two weeks short and has given us take-home finals, on top of homework in those classes and homework in my other two classes. My professors for those latter two classes have not yet indicated how their finals and end-of-semester proceedings will play out for the two/three weeks following Thanksgiving, so I can't say for sure if or when you should expect me to even be on TV Tropes, let alone post or help with Capital's successor.

TL;DR: Brace yourselves; finals hell is coming.

I did think about jumping back in for a bit, but that was in the middle of work and application filing so I just couldn't bring myself around to figuring out what was going on. Would've liked to continue with their storylines but I guess crippled in a hospital is a natural enough ending.

As for threads I jumped in at Capital so any thread is going to be a new experience for me.

I'll post on Friday. The connection is wonky here.
