If you'll read back, you'll see KC mentioned Echo being familiar with Equalist mechs, so having to deal with one isn't a completely unknown experience.

Thought about it some more and eventually decided to edit to reflect what KC actually meant and to cut down on the overpoweredness.

My point about it feeling like an autohit still stands, though.

I guess I have everyone to reply for so I'll work on that. I've been really distracted lately.

I'm intending to write the descriptions for the town today.

Not going to do the OP, though. I don't think evocative descriptions of the sort we want here are really my strength.

I'm still at home, which is part of the problem, because I'm waiting to find out if I get evacuated or not.

@Frontier stuff - I kinda want to write some stuff for it, but it'd be better if some other people did that go be quite honest.

A small personal update: I have a few characters I could use, but I haven't fully decided, so depending on when Frontier starts, I actually may be late to the party. Also, I'm gonna be writing exclusively on my cellphone, since my new computer isn't done yet, so I will be really slow and possible writing screw ups may happen. Basically asking if anyone sees that stuff, point it out to me. Please.

If you don't mind me asking, are you somewhere in California? Cause I'm somewhere in California and it seems like recently it's always on fire somewhere.

I hope you'll be ok and stay safe. Believe me I know the scare of possibly having to evacuate my house at any given moment.

@Yomegami: In retrospect, you're quite right. I should clarify why I felt fine doing it, though in retrospect it's not a very good reason:

I didn't mention it, but Echo's attack isn't really a threat. She isn't Zaheer, lacking both the discipline and raw power to maintain it long enough to cause real damage. Once the battle commences properly, she'll be unable to do it again — it takes a while to focus on it, and she can't meaningfully defend herself during. In short, she's hoping Sabaoth gets scared. It seems unlikely given his character, but she doesn't know that.

All that having been said, you're right, I should have done things quite a bit differently in retrospect. Screw it, I'll make some minor edits to clarify the above, you can edit yours to reflect — assume she loses control as soon as Sabaoth spots her. Sound all good?

My next post with Buso won't be terribly important, Sphinxyness, so if you want to post again with Kyana, go ahead. I'm headed out to a movie shortly, so I probably won't get around to finishing until later anyway.

For some reason I'm sort of drawing a blank when it comes to doing descriptions for Frontier right now. I'll still try to have them up before I go to bed, but it might not be until tomorrow.

Do we have any thoughts on a launch date yet?

I'll most likely send two or three characters into Frontier when it launches. Hopefully my involvement this time wouldn't be as short-lived as it was in Worlds' Fair.

I can access the site again, but I think I'll wait until tomorrow before doing the descriptions for Frontier, since it's getting late.

Again, any thoughts on when to launch it and/or volunteers to write the OP? I'd personally kind of like to wait until August 16th, since that's when I'll be back at my apartment, but that might be too close to school for some folks.

I'm here. The trip was canceled and replaced with a ridiculous day at work. I should get two days off now, but I'm starting to think that "planning ahead" isn't a viable strategy where I live.

There will be no evacuation. Fire was contained and put out.

Of course it was a pretty big clue when they said I could go to work, I think by that point they just had a truck staring at the remains for flareups, but they didn't say that.

Feeling a little unmotivated when it comes to posting today. May or may not get one out by the end of the night.

Posted and edited Sabaoth's last post one more time in accordance with recent changes. I did leave the bit in about his armor disrupting Echo's abilities as I imagine there's some sort of...mental connection between her and the air she's controlling, and that's something the properties of the armor would be able to affect.

Sabaoth's still looking for Echo in that post; since I don't know where exactly she is, logically he wouldn't either.

Waiting on Tro for Eliza.

On that note, both Tehpillowstar and Sphinxyness are waiting on you for Meiko's Cafe, KC.

Could you *please* post for Varnas and the Captain? When you don't post, I can't post because all of my characters are currently interacting with yours.

At the very least, can we finish up the business deal between the Captain and Orenue? We can even hash it out in P Ms to complete it in as few posts as possible.

Finally got around to adding descriptions for the town - or rather its main locations - on Frontier's page. I'm taking suggestions for names for the saloons and any other establishments that might need them.

So what else do we need to do for Frontier? I'm still wondering about setting down a launch date.

Beyond a description for the fort and a starting post, I don't think there's anything else to cover.

I mean, it's a possibility I could do the OP, but school starts back up again on Wednesday for me. Maybe we can launch on the weekend after that (the 15th)?
